Issued by the National Development and Reform Commission of the People's Republic of ChinaForeword
This standard is a revision of JC/T402-1991 (1996) "Technical condition of paint coating and antirust for cement machinery". Compared with JC/T402-1991 (1996), the main technical changes of this standard are as follows: JC/T402--2006
Added the requirements for surface pretreatment before painting, including rust removal methods, rust removal levels and the interval time between painting after rust removal; specified the specific requirements for coating according to the use environment; divided the test methods and inspection rules into two chapters to make the standard more operational; the inspection rules divided the inspection items into factory inspection and type inspection. This standard does not specify the rust prevention of packaging during transportation. The packaging during transportation should comply with the provisions of JC/T406 "Technical Conditions for Packaging of Cement Machinery".

Recommended application scope
Auxiliary parts or auxiliary equipment and surfaces of steel parts used in mildly corrosive environments. The surfaces of steel parts in major components or major equipment and in highly corrosive environments, and steel parts that are exposed to high temperatures in long-term operations in damp, humid, warm, salt spray and other environments and need to be painted with heat-resistant paint. Surfaces in contact with liquid media or corrosive media, such as the inner surface of oil tanks, reducer housings, and water tanks. All steel parts that are in contact with high temperatures and do not need to be painted with heat-resistant paint. Due to equipment limitations, large steel components and steel components with special shapes cannot be sprayed or blasted for rust removal, such as rotary kiln cylinders.
All kinds of steel pipes on equipment: thin plates (wall thickness less than 5mm) that cannot be sprayed or blasted: medium and small parts and small parts with complex structures, etc.
aSSPC is the surface rust removal quality level of the American Steel Structure Coating Committee's "SSPC Steel Structure Surface Pretreatment Specification". 4.4.7 Steel plates and profiles used to make large structural parts should be rust-free in advance, and the rust removal level is generally Sa2, and primer should be applied within the specified time. However, the reserved welding position shall not be painted for the time being. If the reserved time is long, a weldable primer shall be applied. 4.4.8 For plates or profiles with a wall thickness of ≤6mm, manual rust removal or sandblasting shall be used for rust removal. 4.4.9 The parts that need to be puttyed shall be surface treated before puttying, and the surface shall be flat after puttying. 4.5 Coating requirements
4.5.1 The classification of paint, product use environment, applicable product and component range and recommended coating thickness are shown in Table 2. 4.5.2 Technical requirements for coating of some special parts and components in the product: a) The surfaces where riveted parts contact each other should be coated with anti-rust paint with a thickness of 30μm to 40μm before connection, and the overlapping edges should be sealed with paint, putty or adhesive;
The primer damaged by processing or welding should be repainted; b)
The inner surface of the unclosed box structure, the inner surface of the safety cover, the inner surface that is scattered during transportation, etc., should be coated with anti-rust paint with a thickness of 30um to 80μm.
