1 General
1.0.1 This standard is formulated to correctly reflect the actual stress conditions of wood structures in the test of wood structures, to compare and reference the test data of different test institutions, and to provide a unified test method for testers to follow. 1.0.2 This standard applies to static tests of load-bearing wood structures and components and their connections in houses and general structures under short-term loads.
For wood treated with protective agents in wood structures, when it is necessary to determine the penetration and retention of chemical agents, the provisions of Appendix E should be followed.
1.0.3 In addition to complying with this standard, the test methods of wood structures should also comply with the provisions of current relevant national standards and specifications. 2 Basic provisions
2.1 Purpose and design of test
2.1.1 When conducting wood structure tests, the test design should be carried out first. The test design can be based on the purpose and requirements of the test, and the relevant test material selection, test piece design and production, test piece quantity, test equipment, test procedures and expected test results can be comprehensively analyzed, and a detailed plan and test preparation can be made. If necessary, a preliminary test should also be carried out. 2.1.2 This standard can divide wood structure tests into two types: verification and inspection tests. Research tests on special issues can be designed in accordance with this standard based on their research purposes. 2.1.3 When it is necessary to verify the correctness of a certain calculation method, the test design and test should be carried out in accordance with this standard based on the scope of application of the method and the items to be verified. 2.1.4 When it is necessary to inspect and accept batches of components, or when there is doubt about the quality of certain structures and components, or when the reliability of existing wood structures needs to be identified through testing, sampling should be carried out according to the requirements of the inspection, and the test should be carried out according to the methods specified in this standard.
2.2 Test materials and test piecesbzxZ.net
2.2.1 The selection and storage of test materials used in the verification test shall comply with the following provisions: 1 The same batch of test wood must be of the same tree species, with the exact tree species name and origin. When conditions permit, it is advisable to sample from the forest area.
2 When the test wood is sampled from the forest area, the ends of all raw wood should be painted with paint, asphalt or other coatings that can delay the drying of the ends and prevent the ends from cracking, and should be transported back in time. When the humidity of the environment where the test materials are temporarily stacked is high, the preservative should be applied to the sample.
3 When conditions are limited, commercial wood can be used as test wood, but each test wood should have the exact tree species name. Page 10

4 The wood used for the test must be stored indoors where it is not exposed to the sun, rain, snow or damp ground. The test materials should be stacked sparsely off the ground, and gaps should be left above, below, left and right for air circulation for each test material. 2.2.2 The selection and storage of test materials and test pieces used for inspection tests shall comply with the following provisions: 1 When the inspection is carried out according to the original pieces sent, they should be properly preserved during storage to avoid damage and change in shape of the original pieces. Properties and moisture content of the wood.
2 When sampling is required for inspection in an existing building or a certain structure, the principle of reinforcing the structure first and then sampling should be followed.
2.2.3 The moisture content of the wood must be controlled before the test. Except for specific research contents, the wood used for the test must be naturally air-dried indoors.
During the air-dried storage period, the moisture content of the test material surface can be checked by electrical measurement. However, before making the test piece, 3 to 5 test pieces must be drawn in advance, and a 15mm thick test piece must be sawed at 400mm from the end to measure the moisture content by drying method. Only after confirming that the local equilibrium moisture content has been reached, can the test piece be made and the test be carried out. The equilibrium moisture content of wood shall comply with the provisions of Appendix A of this standard.
2.2.4 The material grade of the test wood shall be specified in advance in the test design, and the material grade shall not be changed arbitrarily during the implementation. The method for determining the material grade of wood shall be determined in accordance with the relevant requirements in Appendix 2 and Section 1 of Chapter 2 of the current national standard "Code for Design of Wood Structures" GBJ5-88. 2.2.5 The production and inspection of test pieces shall meet the following requirements: 1. The production quality and deviation of test pieces used for verification test purposes shall comply with the relevant provisions of the current national standard "Standard for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Unstructured Engineering" GB50206-2002: The test pieces used for inspection test purposes shall be measured as they are, and their production quality shall be evaluated in accordance with the current "Standard for Acceptance of Construction Quality of Timber Structure Engineering". 2. The design dimensions of the key parts of the test piece shall be measured at least three times, and the average value shall be taken. 2.2.6 Before the test, the relevant data of the basic material properties of the wood used in the test batch should be obtained. When making the test piece, the required standard small test pieces (including density) should be cut from the test material near the two ends of the test piece. The production requirements, moisture content determination and test methods of various standard small test pieces should comply with the relevant provisions of "Wood Physical and Mechanical Test Methods" (GB1927-1943). The number of various standard small test pieces, in addition to meeting the requirements of this test method in this standard, should also meet the statistical provisions of Chapter 3 of this standard on test data. 2.2.7 After the test is completed, the moisture content test piece should be cut immediately near the damaged part, and the moisture content should be determined by the drying method. The size of the sample should be 20mm×20mm×20mm. There should be no less than 3 samples, and the average value should be taken. If the moisture content is measured with a 15mm thick full-section test piece, only one sample can be taken. Page 11
