The "Polytetrafluoroethylene-lined Steel Pipes and Fittings" standard compiled by the Shanghai Pharmaceutical Design Institute organized by the Ministry's Process Piping Design Technology Center has been reviewed and approved as a recommended chemical industry standard, numbered HG/T21562--94. It will be implemented on March 1, 1995.

1 Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the dimensions, technical conditions, inspection, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of polytetrafluoroethylene steel pipes and fittings. 1.0.2 This standard applies to the design pressure ≤1.6MPa gauge pressure, fluid medium temperature>-20℃~≤180℃, with carbon steel and cast steel (only for pipe fittings) as the base, and lined with polytetrafluoroethylene plastic true pipe and pipe fittings. Steel pipes adopt the I series in HG20553《Chemical piping seamless and welded steel pipe size selection series》. If the project requires the 1 series, please refer to the size table in Appendix A.
3.1 Straight pipes
The structural type and size of the raised face neck threaded pipe flanges for straight pipe ends shall comply with the provisions of Figure 3.1.1 and Table 3:1.1 respectively. Figure 3.1.1

3.1.2 For the convenience of installation, a fixed flange is used at one end of the straight pipe. Pipes ≤DN80 use GB9117.2 "Raised face socket welding steel pipe flange with neck", and pipes ≥DN80 use GB9116.8 "Raised face flat welding steel pipe flange with neck", and the other end uses a loose flange (GB9118.1 "Raised face welding ring loose neck steel pipe flange"). Fixed flanges can also be used at both ends of the straight pipe as needed. The structural type and size should comply with the requirements of Figure 3.1.2 and Table 3.1.2.

3.2.1 The structural type and size of the elbow shall comply with the provisions of Figure 3.2.1 and Table 3.2.1 respectively. Socket welding flanges shall be used for elbow flanges ≤DN80, and slip-on flanges shall be used for elbow flanges >DN80.
