Users must use and maintain burning appliances according to the usage instructions and precautions indicated in the instruction manual and nameplate. 8.1
8.2 When using burning appliances, users must ensure ventilation in the room. 8.3 When using a direct-discharge water heater, the user must turn on the exhaust fan for forced exhaust (in the case of an effective air inlet). When there is a power outage or the exhaust fan fails, users must open windows for natural ventilation. 8.4 After using the burning appliance, the valves on the gas and water inlet pipes must be closed. 8.5 When the gas appliance appears to be leaking, leaking, the flame does not go out after the water is stopped (water heater), or the combustion conditions are poor (fire, backfire, yellow flame), etc., it should be stopped and the gas management department should be notified in time for repair. It is strictly prohibited to do so without permission. Disassembly and repair. 8.6 After receiving the notice of repair of the gas appliance, the gas management department should send someone to repair it within 24 hours. 8.7 The operating instructions for burning appliances should include provisions and precautions that remind users to report for regular inspections. The modification sheet No. 1 of GB16914-1997 General Safety Technical Principles for Gas Burning Appliances was approved by the State Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision on August 17, 1998 in the form of Quality and Technical Supervision National Standard Letter [1998] No. 081. Since January 1999 It will be implemented from January 1st.
1. Change the content in line 4 of Article 6.6.2.1: "When the building does not have a flue, other reliable smoke exhaust facilities must be installed." Change to "When the building does not have a flue, it must be installed Smoke exhaust facilities that meet any of the following requirements: a. Installed in a compartment that opens to the outdoors, and there should be an inlet and exhaust port in the compartment; b. Set up with a smoke exhaust hood, fan and exhaust. Mechanical ventilation device for the cylinder; c. Set up mechanical ventilation equipment with linkage devices for burning appliances and ventilation fans. ”801
3. The size and position of the air inlet and exhaust port. When the semi-closed natural exhaust burning appliance is installed indoors. An air inlet larger than the cross-sectional area of ??the exhaust pipe should be provided. For burning appliances with heat flow greater than 6.4kW (5500kcal/h), or when the gas consumption of 1m2 room area is greater than 7.4kW (6400kcal/h), in addition to the air inlet, an exhaust port should also be provided on the upper part. The size of the exhaust port and exhaust port should be larger than the cross-sectional area of ??the exhaust pipe. Both the air inlet and the exhaust port should be installed in locations directly connected to the atmosphere. 6.6.3 Semi-closed forced exhaust type burning appliances
6.6.3.1 The safety device of semi-closed forced exhaust type burning appliances should ensure that when the exhaust fan stops, the gas can be automatically cut off and will not start again. 6.6.3.2 The exhaust capacity of the fan should be able to overcome the resistance of the exhaust pipe and the outdoor wind pressure. For a heat flow of 1kW (860kcal/h) of the burning appliance, the exhaust capacity should be greater than 2.8m2/h ( room temperature). GB 169141997
When the exhaust hood is in the wind pressure zone, the exhaust pressure of the fan should be greater than 80Pa. When it is not in the wind pressure zone, it should be greater than 20Pa. 6.6.3.3 The diameter of the exhaust pipe, the number of elbows and the length of the exhaust pipe should be selected within the range to ensure that the exhaust capacity of the fan meets the requirements of 6.6.3.2.
6.6.3.4 The area of ??the air inlet should be larger than the effective cross-sectional area of ??the exhaust pipe, and the available door and window gaps can be used as air inlets. 6.6.4 Closed burning appliances
6.6.4.1 Installation of balanced wall-mounted burning appliances
Balanced wall-mounted burning appliances should be installed on the outer wall that is directly connected to the atmosphere, and the air supply and exhaust pipes should be installed In a space and location where smoke does not remain trapped. 6.6.4.2 Installation of shared flue-type burning appliances
The burning appliances using the shared flue should be those that have passed the test and are allowed to be used on the shared flue (appliances that burn under low oxygen concentrations).
Closed burning appliances with forced air supply and exhaust shall not be installed on the common flue. When the gas used by the burning appliances installed on the shared flue is heavier than air, the flue should have safety measures to prevent gas leakage. 6.7 Installation of public burning appliances
6.7.1 Large brick stoves should have a furnace, flue (annular), explosion-proof door, stove door and secondary air inlet. 6.7.2 When public burning appliances such as brick cooking stoves and ovens are built with furnaces and flues, they should also comply with the provisions of 6.7.1. 6.7.3 For direct-discharge public burning appliances, an exhaust hood should be installed on the upper part or an exhaust fan should be installed on the upper part of the exterior wall. 6.8 Installation of gas leak alarm
6.8.1 When installing a gas leak alarm in a location where burning appliances are used, the following regulations should be met: a) It should be installed in the same room as the burning appliance;
b) It should be installed in a place where gas is easy to accumulate and where maintenance is easy. 6.8.2 The installation location of the gas leak alarm should comply with the following regulations: a) When the gas is lighter than the air, the alarm should be installed within 8m horizontally from the burning appliance and less than 30cm from the ceiling; b) When the gas is lighter than the air In heavy cases, the alarm should be installed within 4m of the horizontal distance from the burning appliance and less than 30cm from the ground. 6.8.3 Users who install burning appliances should install outdoor alarm buzzers. The buzzer should be installed in a place such as an outdoor door where it is easy to be noticed and heard by neighbors, and there should be no water leakage there. 7 Inspection and acceptance
7.1 The installed burning appliances shall comply with the provisions of Chapters 1 to 6. 7.2 The type and pressure of gas, as well as the water supply pressure of tap water, should comply with the requirements on the nameplate and instructions of the burning appliance. 7.3 Open the gas pipeline valve, close the gas valve of the burning appliance, and use soap solution or a leak detector to check the gas pipeline and joints. There should be no air leakage.
7.4 Open the tap water valve and the cold water inlet valve of the water heater, close the hot water outlet valve of the water heater, and visually check that there should be no water leakage in the tap water system.
