Some standard content:

GB/T8644—2000
This standard is a revision of the national standard GB/T8644-1988 "Refined Aluminum Ingots for Remelting". This revision is based on the original standard, with reference to the German standard DIN1712:1976 and the Japanese standard JISH2111:1968 (confirmed in 1977), combined with the actual production situation of Chinese enterprises, and fully considering the opinions of major users and meeting the requirements of users for the quality of refined aluminum ingots. The main contents of the standard revision are as follows:
① Cancel the A199.995 brand and replace it with the two brands A199.996 and A199.993, and the other brands remain unchanged. ② The content of the main impurities Fe, Si, and Cu is adjusted. This standard will replace GB/T8644-1988 from the date of implementation. This standard was proposed by the State Bureau of Nonferrous Metals Industry. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the China Nonferrous Metals Industry Standard Metrology and Quality Research Institute. This standard was drafted by Guizhou Aluminum Factory.
The main drafters of this standard are Wang Youlai, Li Jiwu, Liu Weidong, Yang Deguang, Gao Yanzhi and Li Qiusheng. 273

|4 Test method
4.1 Arbitration analysis method of chemical composition
The chemical composition analysis method of refined aluminum ingots for remelting can be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T6987.1~6987.24 or GB/T7999. The arbitration analysis method of chemical composition is carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T6987.1~6987.24. 4.2 Surface quality inspection method
The surface appearance quality of refined aluminum ingots for remelting is visually inspected. 5 Inspection rules
5.1 Inspection and acceptance
5.1.1 The refined aluminum ingots for remelting shall be inspected by the supplier's technical supervision department to ensure that the product quality meets the requirements of this standard and fill in the quality certificate. 5.1.2 The buyer shall inspect the received products in accordance with the provisions of this standard. If the inspection results do not meet the requirements of this standard, the buyer shall submit the matter to the supplier within 3 months from the date of receipt of the product, and the supplier and buyer shall negotiate to resolve the issue. If necessary, the first party shall conduct arbitration, and the sampling for arbitration shall be conducted jointly by the supplier and buyer.
5.2 Batch
GB/T 8644--2000
Products shall be submitted for inspection in batches, and each batch shall consist of products from the same smelting furnace number, with a quantity of not less than 10 pieces (100kg). 5.3 Chemical Composition Arbitration Sampling Location and Sampling Quantity Regulations 5.3.1 In each batch of products, select a sample ingot and use the drilling method to sample. When drilling, use a drill bit with a diameter of 12~20mm (no lubricating oil is allowed, ethanol can be used as a lubricant) to drill 4 holes along the two diagonal lines of the sample ingot, 100mm away from the top corner. As shown in Figure 2. Before drilling, the surface layer of the drilling point must be removed, and its thickness must not be less than 2mm. The drilling depth should not be less than two-thirds of the thickness of the aluminum ingot, and the thickness of the sample lead chips should not be greater than 1 mm.
