GB/T 3780.4-2003 This part is Part 4 of GB/T3780, corresponding to IS06894:1991 (E) Rubber compounding carbon black compression test sample determination of phthalic acid butyl ester absorption value test sample preparation. The consistency degree of this part with IS06894:1901 (F) is modified and adopted. This part replaces G13/T3780.41994 Carbon black (compression test sample) butyl phthalate absorption value determination method and test sample preparation, because the original standard is technically backward. This part is redrafted based on IS (6894): 1991 (F). For the convenience of comparison, a comparison table of the clauses of this national standard and the clauses of the international standard is listed in the informative appendix B. Due to the legal requirements of my country and the special needs of the industry, this part has been modified when adopting the international standard. These technical differences are marked with a vertical single line in the margin of the clauses they affect. In the Appendix, a table of technical differences and their causes is given for reference. For ease of use, the following editorial changes have been made to this part: the term "International Standard" is replaced by "*" in this part; the decimal point is replaced by "." in this part; the "Specifications" chapter is divided into two paragraphs. The main technical differences between this part and (G13/T 3780.4-1994): the front sound "\|tt|| is added; the sample at the bottom of the fourth shrinkage is added to pass through the 850 rm sieve (see 6.1.11 and 6.2.13); it is indicated that the absorption value of dibutyl phthalate of the compressed sample can be determined by method B of (G13/T 3780.2) (7.11 of the 1994 version, 6.2.13 of this version). 1.12 and 6.2.11) #· Removed the chapter of the 14th edition! Then release the pressure. Note: The indication of the oil pressure gauge is related to the inner diameter of the compression cylinder and the surface of the bottom end of the power head. 6.1.7 Lift the power head, remove the bottom sealing plate, and then lower the power head until the plunger and the sample are just pressed out of the compression cylinder and into the stainless steel cup (4.6). 6.1.8 Wipe the carbon black dust off the compression cylinder, plunger and bottom sealing plate, and replace the bottom sealing plate and compression cylinder on the base plate of the compressor according to the requirements of 6..1. 6.1.9 Use a scraper to break up the carbon black sample until the largest carbon black agglomerate is no larger than 0.25 cm. Ensure that no sample is lost during the operation. 6.1.10 Repeat the compression operation of 6.1.3 to 6.1.9 to compress the sample a total of 4 times. 6.1.11 Pass the sample after the 4th compression through an 850 ± m sieve, and then retain the sample for testing. GB/T 3780.4—2003 If the compression sample is not tested within 15 min after sieving, the sample should be kept in a desiccator or re-dried at (105±2) for 1 h before testing. Unit: meter Upper part Plunger: Compression cylinder, Plunger in cylinder: Hopper. Main parts of type B compression cylinder and plunger in Figure 2 Weigh (20±0.02) compression sample (all kinds of carbon black are weighed in this amount), and determine its phthalate diester absorption value according to method A of GB/T3780.2; or determine its dibutyl phthalate absorption value according to method B of GB/T3780.2. It is very important to check the measured results with a standard reference carbon black with a similar value. The test results of the standard reference carbon black should be guaranteed to be within the specified range. 6.2 Operation procedures of type B compressor (Figure 2) 6.2.1 Weigh (25=0.1) dried carbon black sample (5.2), 6.2.2 Pour the weighed carbon black sample into the compression cylinder (4.3). 6.2.3 Start the right control valve to move the power head downward to compress the sample until the pressure indicated by the equipment is 103 MPa, then immediately release the pressure. 6.2.4 Use the right control valve to lift the power head until the power head is about 4 cm away from the compression valve, that is, flush with the edge of the hopper 1. GB/T 3780.4--2003 6.2.5 Use the left control valve to raise the plunger in the cylinder to push the sample out of the compression cylinder. At the same time, it is squeezed by the power head on the back and then put into the hopper. 6.2.6 Use a scraper to break up the sample until the largest carbon agglomerate is no larger than 0.25 cm1. Ensure that no sample is lost during the operation. 6.2.7 Lower the plunger in the cylinder to allow the carbon black sample to fall back into the compression cylinder. Use a brush to sweep all the carbon black in the hopper into the compression cylinder. 6.2.8 Repeat the operations of 6.2.3 to 6.2.7 twice. 6.2.9 Remove the hopper and repeat the operation of 6.2.3 again. 6.2.10 Raise the power head with the right control valve. 6.2.11 Raise the plunger in the cylinder with the left control valve. Push the sample out of the compression cylinder. 6.2.12 Reset the plunger in the cylinder with the left control valve. 6.2.13 Pass the sample after the fourth compression through a &50 μr1 sieve and retain the sample for testing. If the compressed sample is not tested within 15m after compression, the sample shall be kept in a desiccator or re-dried at (1052)℃ for 1h before testing. 6.2.14 Weigh (20-0.02)g of compressed sample (this amount is used for all kinds of carbon black) and determine its absorption value of dibutyl phthalate according to Method A of GB/T3780.2 or its absorption value of monobutyl phthalate according to Method B of GB/T3780.2. It is very important to verify the measured results with a standard reference carbon black with a similar value, and the test results of the standard reference carbon black should be guaranteed to be within the specified range. 7 Result expression According to GE /T3780.2 requirements for the expression of results 8 Test report The test report shall include the following contents: 0) Type and number of the test sample; b) Number of the standard on which the test is based; Type of compression derivative used; Method for measuring the absorption value of phthalate esters; d) Test results; e) Differences from the specified analytical procedures; Abnormal phenomena observed during the test: , Test date.
