China National Petroleum Corporation December 28, 1997 This specification is based on the requirements of the document No. 42 of the 1997 China Petroleum Technology Supervision, and is edited by Dagang Youwang Group Construction Engineering Company. It was jointly developed with the China Shichong Natural Gas Corporation Engineering Technology Research Institute and other units. During the development process of this specification, the specification compilation team conducted a relatively extensive investigation and research, summarized the practical experience of various oil companies over the years, and referred to relevant domestic and foreign standards and specifications. The main technical contents were repeatedly discussed and revised. After the final draft was reviewed, The main technical contents of this specification include general principles, symbols, installation, and on-site assembly of containers. In order to improve the quality of this specification, please pay attention to summarizing experience and accumulating information during the implementation of this specification, and send relevant opinions and suggestions to Dagang Youshan Group Construction Engineering Company, Shanggulin, Dagang District, Dalu City (zip code 300272) for reference in future revisions. Main drafters of this specification: Wang Yaoqing, Zhao Lianqing, Chen Zhiying, Zhang Hongyuan 1. General Provisions 1.01 Pressure vessels are special equipment widely used in oilfield production. In order to have unified technical standards for installation projects and ensure safe operation, this specification is formulated. 1.0.2 This specification is applicable to the installation, on-site segmented installation, construction and acceptance of steel welded pressure vessels for oil and gas processing with a design pressure higher than or equal to 0.1MPa and lower than 35MPa and a design temperature lower than -20°C. 1.0.3 The installation of tower equipment and heat exchange equipment can be carried out in accordance with the "Chemical Tower Equipment Construction and Acceptance Specification" HGJ211 and "Steel Shell and Tube Heat Exchanger" GB151. 1.0.4 This specification does not apply to the following containers: Containers heated by direct flames: Containers that are often transported; Containers that are subjected to radiation; Containers that require fatigue analysis; Containers that are governed by existing industry standards. The construction unit that welds and installs the pressure vessel on site must have a license issued by the labor department at or above the provincial level (including the provincial level) that is suitable for its category. 1.0.6 The welding of the container must be performed by welders who hold the corresponding category welder qualification certificate issued by the labor department. 1.0.7 Non-destructive testing personnel must obtain a qualification certificate issued by the labor department before they can undertake non-destructive testing work of the corresponding technical level and type. 1.0.8 The burst seams of the pressure-bearing part of the container are divided into four categories: A, BC, and D according to their location, as shown in Figure 1.0.8. 1.0.9 In addition to implementing this specification, the construction and acceptance of steel pressure vessels for oil and gas processing shall also comply with the requirements of the design drawings and the provisions of the relevant mandatory standards currently in force in the country. 1.0.10 The manufacture, inspection and acceptance of pressure vessels shall be carried out in accordance with "Steel Pressure Vessels" - GB 150 Safety technology during construction and labor protection shall be implemented in accordance with the relevant provisions currently in force in the country. Figure 1.0.8 Schematic diagram of weld position classification Note: The longitudinal welds of the A-type pressure-bearing parts, the circumferential welds of the spherical opening of the right-row joint of the convex head and the cylinder, and the welds of the embedded pipe and the cylinder or head are all classified as FA welds: The circumferential welds of the B-type pressure-bearing parts, the welds connecting the small end of the conical head and the pipe, are all classified as B welds, except for the welds that have been specified as A, C, and D: The welds connecting the C-type flange, head, tube sheet, etc. with the cylinder, the lap angle welds between the inner head and the circular cylinder, and the bottom welds; The welds connecting the D-type pipe, manhole, flash flange, etc. with the cylinder are all classified as D welds, except for the welds that have been specified as A and B.
