5 Preparation before measurement
GB 841887
The machine to be measured should be cleaned and in an unloaded state, and equipped according to the manufacturer's technical specifications, with the specified machine mass. 5.1
5.2 The tire pressure should comply with the manufacturer's regulations, and the steering system (front and rear wheels) should be in the "straight ahead driving" position. 5.3 Articulated machines should be measured in a straight line. 5.4 The corresponding position of the working device should be recorded. 5.5 The bottom base plane (GRP) used for measurement is a horizontal concrete surface or a solid surface with sufficient area. The requirements for the bottom base plane (GRP) should comply with the provisions of Article 1.3.3.1 of JB1666. 5.6 The test pit for measuring the excavation depth should be of sufficient depth. 6 Measurement methods
6.1 Direct measurement method
6.1 The horizontal distance between each measuring point at the same height above the bottom reference plane (GRP) shall be measured with a ruler or a tape measure (as shown in Figure 1).
6.1.2 The vertical distance between each measuring point and the bottom reference plane (GRP) shall be measured with a steel ruler or a steel tape measure, and a plumb line shall be used to ensure that the steel ruler or steel tape measure is vertical (as shown in Figure 2).
6.1.3 The inclination angle of the inclined surface of the measured machine in the vertical plane shall be measured with a goniometer placed on the inclined surface (as shown in Figure 3). 6.2 Indirect measurement method
This method shall be used only when the direct measurement method is not feasible. 6.2.1 From each measuring point, a plumb line shall be dropped to obtain the corresponding vertical point on the bottom reference plane (GRP). The horizontal distance shall be measured between the vertical points on the bottom reference plane (GRP) (as shown in Figure 4). 6.2.2 Use a straight rod and a level to horizontally transfer each corresponding measuring point. Measure the vertical distance from the transferred measuring point to the bottom datum plane (GRP) with a ruler, and use a line to ensure that the steel ruler is vertical (as shown in Figure 5). 6.2.3 Measure the vertical distance from each measuring point below the bottom datum plane (GRP) to the bottom datum plane (GRP) in the test pit. A straight bar is placed on the bottom datum plane (GRP), and the second straight bar is horizontally close to the measuring point. The vertical distance between the two horizontal straight bars should be measured with a steel rod or a third straight rod should be used to record the vertical dimension between the two horizontal straight bars. Use a steel tape measure to measure the dimension marked on the third straight bar. During the test, use a plumb line to ensure that the steel ruler or the third straight bar is vertical, and use a level to ensure that the first and second straight bars are horizontal (as shown in Figure 6). 6.3 Composite measurement method
When the direct measurement method and the indirect measurement method cannot directly obtain the required data, calculate several measurement data to determine the difference [see Appendix A (reference)).

After the measurement, a measurement report should be submitted. The horizontal distance and vertical distance in the measurement report should be accurate to 1 Ⅱm, and the angle should be accurate to 1°. The corresponding position of the working device should be noted in the measurement report. The measurement report should include the following contents:
Name, model and number of the machine being measured:
Name of the manufacturer of the machine being measured. Year and month of manufacture; measurement time, place, name of the tester; measurement results.
