This part is the second part of GB4407. It is mainly based on the relevant provisions of the Seed Law of the People's Republic of China, timely reflects the new situation of the development of the seed industry, and revises GB4407.2—1996 "Economic Crop Seeds Part 2: Oil Seeds", and replaces GB4407.2—1996. Compared with GB4407.2-1996, the main changes of this part are as follows: revised definitions and terms;

4.1 General
Seed quality requirements consist of quality indicators and quality labeling values. 6.1 Sampling
The sampling method and determination of seed batches shall comply with the provisions of GB/T3543. 6.2 Judgment rules
When judging seed quality, the following rules shall be met at the same time: if the crop type, variety name, and place of origin do not match the content marked on the seed label, it shall be judged as fake seed; a) if any of the variety purity, clarity, germination rate and moisture test values ​​do not reach the marked value, it shall be judged as inferior seed; b) if any of the quality marked values ​​on the seed label does not meet the specified values ​​in this part (see 4.2), it shall be judged as inferior seed; c) if any of the quarantine pests specified by the state is present, it shall be judged as inferior seed.
