This standard is revised on the basis of the former professional standards of the Ministry of Light Industry ZBJ47001-1985 "Terms of Construction (Masonry) Tools", ZBJ47002-1985 "General Technical Conditions of Construction (Masonry) Tools", and ZBJ47003-1985 "Inspection Rules, Marking, Packaging and Transportation of Construction (Masonry) Tools", and converted into the light industry standard. In terms of the overall structure of the standard, the terminology of construction tools, general technical conditions and their product standards are retained, and the original ZBJ47003-1985 "Inspection Rules, Marking, Packaging and Transportation of Construction (Masonry) Tools" is cancelled, and some of its relevant provisions are incorporated into the general technical conditions. The product standards are retained according to the numbers in the terminology, and a product standard "Diamond Masonry Shovel" is added. This standard changes the word "brick" in the brackets of the original name to "brick type" and puts it after the standard name "construction tools" to standardize the hand tools used in construction work and make clear limitations in the scope of application.
