This standard replaces GB/T15170—1994 "Packing containersPails of sheet for industrial use". Compared with GB/T15170-1994, the main changes of this standard are as follows: the values of round tank airtightness test, hydraulic test and drop test are changed from Table 6 to be described in words respectively; GB/T15170-2007
describes the contents of round tank test method and performance requirements of airtightness test, hydraulic test, drop test, stacking test, handle beam and handle ring strength test in words respectively;
Taking into account the requirement that the standard should be in line with international trade, the original sampling plan is cancelled and the sampling is carried out according to the sampling plan adopted by the United Nations "Recommendations on the Transport of Dangerous Goods - Manual of Tests and Criteria" (4th revised edition). This standard is proposed by the National Technical Committee for Packaging Standardization. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Technical Committee for Packaging Standardization. This standard is drafted by the Sinochem Chemical Standardization Research Institute. This standard is drafted by the Beijing Entry-Exit Inspection and Quarantine Bureau of the People's Republic of China, Tianjin Yiyou Steel Drum Company, Zigong Honghe Chemical Co., Ltd., and Jinxi Chemical (Group) Company Packaging Container Factory. The main drafters of this standard are: Mei Jian, Chen Liping, Wang Xiaobing, Tang Shutian, Zhang Chunguo, Yang Liu, Wang Zhongmei. 4.2.5 Special specifications and varieties of round cans can be implemented by both the supplier and the buyer according to the contract. 5 Requirements
5.1 Basic requirements
GB/T15170—2007
5.1.1 Appearance requirements: The inner and outer surfaces should be smooth and round, the welds should be neat and slag-free, the paint film color should be consistent, there should be no obvious defects, the printed patterns and texts should be clear and correct, and the overprinting should be accurate.
5.1.2 The structural dimensions of round cans should comply with the provisions of 4.2. 5.1.3 Round cans with closures should comply with the provisions of GB/T13251. The height of the closure after assembly should be lower than the edge of the curling edge. 5.1.4 Hygiene requirements
The sealing packing and internal coating of round cans used to hold food, food additives or medicines must comply with the Food Hygiene Law and relevant standards and regulations.
5.2 Performance requirements
5.2.1 Airtightness test
This test is performed on round cans of categories 1, 2, 3 and 4, but not on round cans of categories 5 and 6. For round cans of categories 1 and 2, this test is performed with a pressure test device before locking, and the test method for round cans after locking is the same as that for categories 3 and 4. Install a pressure gauge (the pressure gauge range is 0kPa to 60kPa, and the accuracy is not less than level 1.5) on the top of the round cans of categories 3 and 4 and connect it to the compressed air source. All parts should be installed firmly to ensure good sealing. Then fill the round tank with compressed gas. The pressure value of round tanks of types 1 and 2 reaches 20kPa before capping and 10kPa after capping. The pressure value of round tanks of types 3 and 4 reaches 20kPa. After maintaining constant pressure for 2 minutes, immerse it in water, or apply soap solution on the manufacturing joints, curling edges, closures, etc., and observe whether there is deformation or leakage. 5.2.2 Hydraulic test
This test is performed on round tanks of types 3 and 4, but not on round tanks of types 1, 2, 5, and 6. Install a pressure gauge (the pressure gauge range is 0kPa200kPa, and the accuracy is not less than level 2) on round tanks of types 3 and 4. The connection method is the same as 5.2.1. Then start the hydraulic pump (the pump pressure is not more than 300kPa, and the output pressure should be stable), fill the round tank with water, and the pressure value reaches 100kPa and maintain constant pressure for 5 minutes to observe whether there is leakage.
5.2.3 Drop test
Class I and II round cans of categories 1 to 6 are subject to this test, while Class III round cans of categories 1 to 6 are not subject to this test. According to the provisions of GB/T4857.5, the simulated loading and filling amount are shown in Table 6. Table 6 Drop test

Choose the weakest part of the collision site for the test. 5.2.4 Stacking test
Perform according to the method specified in GB/T4857.3.The applied load is determined by the following formula: F = K (Hh) m / h bZxz.net
Where:
F—stacking load, in Newton (N); H—stacking height, in meter (m);
h—height of round can, in meter (m);
m—mass of round can after filling, in Newton (N); K—deterioration coefficient, the value is 1.
The round can is loaded and maintained for 24 hours, and the cracks, leakage or deformation that causes unstable stacking are observed. Round cans below 0.5L (including 0.5L) are not subject to this test. 5.2.5 Lifting and lifting ring strength test
Lift the beam or lifting ring by appropriate methods, load three times the nominal capacity of water and maintain for 5 minutes, and observe whether it falls off or cracks. 6 Test method
Appearance and structural dimension inspection
Visually inspect the appearance and structural quality, and use general measuring tools to detect the structural dimensions. 6.2 Air tightness test
Fill the round tank with compressed gas to the pressure value specified in 5.2.1 and keep constant pressure for 2 minutes. After the pressure is released, the tank shape remains unchanged and there is no leakage after inspection. 6.3 Hydraulic test
Start the hydraulic pump (the pump pressure is not more than 300kPa, and the output pressure should be stable), fill the round tank with water to the pressure value specified in 5.2.2 and keep constant pressure for 5 minutes. There is no leakage after inspection.
6.4 Drop test
The round tank does not crack after the drop test.
The drop height of the 1~6 class I round tank is 1.2m, and the drop height of the 1~6 class II round tank is 0.8m. 6.5 Stacking test
After the stacking test, the round tanks shall be inspected to have no cracks, leakage or deformation that causes unstable stacking. 6.6 Handle and lifting ring strength test
After the handle and lifting ring strength test, the round tanks shall not fall off or crack. 7 Inspection rules
7.1 Inspection of round tanks is divided into factory inspection and type inspection. 7.1.1 Factory inspection
The airtightness test items in 5.1.1, 5.1.2 and 5.2.1 of this standard are factory inspection items. 7.1.2 Type inspection
The requirements specified in this standard are type inspection items. 7.2 Round tanks shall be inspected batch by batch. The production plant shall take the output per shift as a batch, and the user shall take the delivery quantity as a batch. The inspection batch shall consist of products of the same model, grade, type and production conditions. 7.3 For the factory inspection and type inspection of this standard, 6 samples are drawn from each batch for each test. The first inspection uses 3 samples. If one sample fails, the inspection item is deemed unqualified. If the first inspection fails, the remaining samples are used to inspect the item again. If it still fails, the batch of products is deemed unqualified.
7.4 For unqualified batches, the unqualified products can be removed or repaired and resubmitted for inspection according to the provisions of this standard. If it still fails after re-inspection, the 6
batches of products are deemed unqualified.
7.5 The quality inspection department of the round can manufacturer shall inspect the products according to the provisions of this standard and issue a certificate of conformity. 8 Packaging, transportation and storage
8.1 Packaging
The outer packaging and packaging method of the round can shall be determined by negotiation according to the user's requirements. 2 Transportation
Round cans should avoid severe collisions and rolling impacts during transportation. 3 Purchase and storage
GB/T15170-—2007
Round cans should not be stacked and stored in the open air, and should be protected from moisture, exposure and pollution. When stacking, wooden blocks should be placed on the bottom layer, and the products should be placed neatly. Heavy pressure is strictly prohibited. The storage warehouse should be ventilated and dry.
