GB/T 2608—2001
This standard is a revision of GB/T 2608—1987 Silica Bricks. Compared with the previous version, this standard has the following main differences: The scope of application is expanded from unit weight 15kg to unit weight ≤40kg. The GZ-93 brand is cancelled and the GZ-96 brand is added. The refractoriness index is cancelled.
The true density, apparent porosity and room temperature strength index are adjusted. The size tolerance and appearance requirements of bricks are tightened. This standard replaces GB/T 2608-1987 from the date of implementation. This standard was proposed by the former State Metallurgical Industry Bureau. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Refractory Standardization Technical Committee. The drafting units of this standard are: Luoyang Refractory Group Co., Ltd., Zhengzhou Yuhua Enterprise Group Co., Ltd., Beijing Coking Plant Shanxi Xixiaoping Refractory Company, Shandong Boshan Beihekou Refractory Factory, Shandong Zibo Bridge Industrial Company Refractory Factory. The main drafters of this standard are Du Wenzhong, Zhang Xicheng, Hou Junjie, Zhang Huirong, Mu Kexiao, and Gao Xuzhu. 1 Scope

3. 1 Bricks are divided into three grades: GZ-96, GZ 95 and GZ.94 according to physical and chemical indicators. 3.2 The shape and size of bricks shall comply with the provisions of GB/T2992.YB/T4017, and can also be carried out according to user requirements. 4 Technical requirements
4. 1 The physical and chemical indicators of bricks shall comply with the provisions of Table 1. 4.2 The allowable deviation of brick size and appearance shall comply with the provisions of Table 2. 4.3 When a crack crosses an edge, it is only allowed to cross one edge, and the cracks across the edges are not combined for calculation. 4.4 Cracks on the brick parallel to the working surface: The length shall not exceed one fifth of the length of the edge shared by the crack surface and the working surface 4.5 Layer cracks:
Bricks with a unit weight of ≤20kg shall be assessed according to the working surface crack index; bricks with a unit weight of >20 kg shall be assessed according to the non-working surface crack index.
