1 Subject Content and Scope of Application
QB/T 1510—1992
This standard specifies the product classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation, storage, etc. of tennis balls. This standard applies to tennis balls for competition and practice. 2 Reference Standards
GB/T2828 Batch Inspection Count Sampling Procedure and Sampling Table (Applicable to Inspection of Continuous Batch) GB/T 2829 Periodic Inspection Count Sampling Procedure and Sampling Table (Applicable to Inspection of Production Process Stability) 3 Product Classification
3.1 Products are divided into pressure balls and non-pressure balls according to relative air pressure. 3.2 Pressure balls are divided into plain balls and plateau balls (balls used in areas above 1219m above sea level) according to their use. 4 Technical Requirements
4.1 Products are divided into first-class products and qualified products according to quality grades. 4.2 Product performance shall comply with the provisions of Table 1.

Basically uniform in color, without serious looseness, ripples, and agglomeration. Ball seams are basically uniform, without obvious stitching phenomenon
4.3 The pattern of the inner packaging is clear and the color is uniform. The inner packaging iron can or plastic can has no obvious scratches or dents. 5 Test method
5.1 Test conditions
The test should be carried out after storage for 24 hours at a temperature of about 20℃ and a relative humidity of about 60%. 5.2 Pre-pressing before test
Approved by the Ministry of Light Industry of the People's Republic of China on 1992-06-08 and implemented on 1993-02-01
QB/T1510—1992
The ball should be pre-pressed with a tennis ball deformation tester before the test. When pre-pressing, avoid the ball seam and compress 25.4mm each time along the three mutually perpendicular axes of the ball, which should be repeated three times (a total of nine compressions). All tests should be completed within 2 hours after pre-pressing. 5.3 Mass
Measured with a balance with a sensitivity of 0.1g.
5.4 Diameter
Measured by a ring gauge composed of a 3.2mm thick stainless steel plate. The inner edge of the hole should have a convex side with a radius of 1.6mm, as shown in Figure 1. During the measurement, the ball should pass freely through the larger hole of the corresponding two adjacent holes, but not through the small hole.
Qualified
5.5 Elasticity
The product falls freely from a height of 2.54m, and the rebound height (the distance from the plane to the bottom of the tennis ball) when it falls on the concrete plane is measured. 5.6 Push deformation and recovery deformation
Measured by a tennis ball deformation tester. Apply a load of 80N to the ball at a uniform speed (avoiding the ball seam). When the load is fully applied to the ball, read the value after 5s. This value is the push deformation. Apply external force to 25.4mm, then release the external force completely at a uniform speed, read the value after 10s, and this value is the recovery deformation. The calculation of the two deformations should be the average of three independent readings along the three mutually perpendicular axes of the ball. 5.7 Spherical surface and inner packaging
Sensory measurement: The spherical surface can also be measured by comparing the actual sealed sample. 6 Inspection rules
6.1 Each batch of products must be inspected and qualified by the inspection department before leaving the factory. 6.2 Product inspection is divided into factory inspection and type inspection. 6.3 Factory inspection
6.3.1 Factory inspection shall be carried out in accordance with the procedures specified in GB/T2828. Sample unit: pieces, using the normal inspection secondary sampling plan, the classification of non-conforming products, inspection items, test method clauses, qualified quality level (AQL) value and inspection level (IL) are shown in Table 2. QB/T1510-1992
When the design, structure, key process and main materials are changed; when the production is stopped for more than 6 months and then restarted;
When the national quality supervision agency proposes a type inspection requirement. Type inspection is conducted in accordance with the procedures specified in GB/T2829. A sampling plan with a discrimination level of I is adopted. The inspection items, test method clauses, judgment array and non-conforming quality level (RQL) values are shown in Table 3. Table 3

7.1.3 The outer packaging should have the brand name, factory address, product name, model or item number, trademark, quantity, volume, factory date, moisture-proof, handle with care (simple packaging does not require printing) and other marks.
7.1.4 The inner and outer packaging should have a certificate of conformity or a certificate of conformity. 7.2 Packaging
7.2.1 The inner packaging is iron cans or plastic cans, which are sealed and stored with air pressure. Or simple packaging is used. 7.2.2 The outer packaging is double corrugated boxes or cartons with the same strength as double corrugated boxes, lined with moisture-proof paper. 7.3 Transportation
During transportation, care should be taken to place the products with care, prevent moisture and shock, and do not throw or bump them. 7.4 Storage
7.4.1 The products should be stored in a well-ventilated and dry warehouse, and should not be exposed to rain or moisture. They should be avoided from being stacked together with perishable items. 7.4.2 The shelf life of canned products is 6 months from the date of leaving the factory. Simple packaging products should not be stored for a long time. Additional remarks:
This standard was proposed by the Quality Standards Department of the Ministry of Light Industry. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Sports and Cultural Products Standardization Center. This standard was drafted by the Shanghai Tennis Factory. The main drafters of this standard are Hong Huixin, Lu Weizheng, and Huang Yiguo. This standard refers to the 1991 ITF Tennis Rules.
