GB/T3939.5-2004 Sinkers are important accessories of fishing gear and are one of the main fishing gear materials. This part is formulated as a series of standards for the naming and marking of main fishing gear materials, with the aim of making the naming and marking of sinkers uniform and standardized. This part uses the SC/T5001 Terminology of Fishing Gear Materials》 Definition. This part was proposed by the Fisheries Bureau of the Ministry of Agriculture. This part is under the jurisdiction of the Sub-Technical Committee on Fishing Gear and Fishing Gear Materials (TC156/SC4) of the National Technical Committee for Aquatic Products Standardization1. Drafting unit of this part: East China Sea Fisheries Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences. Main drafters of this part: Chai Xiufang, Le Weizhang. This part is entrusted to the East China Sea Fisheries Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Fishery Sciences for interpretation. 1 Scope Naming and marking of main fishing gear materials This part of GB/T3939 specifies the principles for naming sinkers and the composition of markings. This part applies to the naming and marking of sinkers for fishing. 2 Normative references GB/T 3939.5—2004 The clauses in the following documents become clauses of this part through reference in this part of GB/T3939. However, parties reaching an agreement based on this part are encouraged to study whether the latest versions of these documents can be used. For any undated referenced document, the latest version shall apply to this part. SC/T5001 Basic terms of fishing gear materials 3 Terms and definitions The terms and definitions established in SC/T5001 apply to this part of GB/T3939. 4 Naming Sinkers are named according to the principle of material classification. 4.1 When the sinker is composed of a single material, the Chinese name of the material followed by the two characters "Sinker" is used as the product name. 4.2 When the sinker is composed of two or more materials, the Chinese name of the main material followed by the four characters "Compound Sinker" is used as the product name. 5 Marking 5.1 The marking of the sinker shall include the following four items in order: a) Product name: b) External dimensions: cylindrical shape is external diameter multiplied by length, waist drum shape is maximum external diameter multiplied by length, spherical shape is external diameter, and other shapes are maximum external length multiplied by width multiplied by thickness, expressed in millimeters; c) Aperture: expressed in millimeters; d) Standard number. 5.2 Leave space between a) and b) and between d) and the previous item. 5.3b) Before the value of the external diameter, "Φ" shall be written. 5.4e) Before the value of the aperture, "D" shall be written. If there is no stringing hole, there is no c). 6 Simple marking 6.1 Simple marking may be used in product marking and fishing gear drawing. 6.2) The product name is represented by the material code followed by ".-". When the sinker is composed of two or more materials, the material codes are connected in order of priority with "". No space is left after a). Common material codes for sinkers are shown in Table 1. 1 GB/T3939.5—2004 Table 1 Common material codes for sinkers 6.3b) When b) external dimensions and c) pore diameter do not need to be indicated, the material polyvinyl fluoride unsaturated polyester resin barium sulfate " code can be used to indicate it.
