Some standard content:
GB/T8646—1998
This standard is revised on the basis of GB8646--88 and with reference to the American ASTMF487-:88 "Semiconductor Bonding Pliers-1% Silicon Filament".
This standard changes the original standard name "Aluminum Silicon Alloy (AISi1) Wire for Semiconductor Device Bonding" to "Semiconductor Bonding Aluminum-1% Silicon Filament"; the gold medal representation method AISil is changed to A1-1%Si, which is consistent with the American ASTM standard. This standard is written in accordance with the requirements of GB/T1.1-1993 standard, adding "Foreword" and adding "Scope", "Reference Standards" and \Order Form The varieties and specifications in Chapter 1 of the original standard are cancelled according to the provisions of GB/T1.1, and the content of Article 1.1 is incorporated into the fourth chapter "Requirements" of this standard, and the allowable deviation level I is cancelled, which is consistent with the American ASTM standard; Article 1.2 The length of the single end of the wire is cancelled and incorporated into the relevant provisions of Chapter 3 "Order Form Contents" of this standard. This standard adds three grades of 0.018mm, 0.032mm, and 0.045mm in the size classification; the mechanical properties tables 4 and 5 in the original standard are merged into Table 3 of this standard, and some individual data are adjusted to make it more reasonable. This standard reduces the maximum range of breaking force by 1~2g, and the elongation The maximum value has been lowered by 0.5% to 1%, which is consistent with the US ASTM standard.
This standard adds "the surface should be free of notches, pits, scratches, cracks and other defects that reduce mechanical properties that exceed the allowable deviation of the diameter", which is more precise than the original standard.
Based on the original standard, this standard clarifies that the surface quality test shall be carried out in accordance with SJ/T10705-96 "Surface Quality Inspection Method for Semiconductor Device Bonding Wires".
The sampling quantity of this standard changes the "3% of each batch of wires based on the number of axes" stipulated in the original standard to "1% of each batch of wires based on the number of axes", which is consistent with the US ASTM standard.

Maximum range
Tensile force and elongation should be selected within the range of minimum and maximum values specified in Table 3. For example, if the diameter of the wire is 0.040mm, the breaking force is required to be 0.22N. The elongation is required to be 2%, then the breaking force range is 0.20~~0.24N (0.22N±0.02N) according to Table 3, and the elongation standard is 1.0%-4.0% (2.0%--2.0%, 2.0%-1.0%). 2 If the mechanical property requirements do not match the values listed in Table 3, the supplier and the buyer can reach a consensus on the basis of the current determination. 4.4 Surface quality GB/T 8646-1998 4.4.1 The surface of the wire should be clean, free of oxidation, finger marks, oil stains, mildew, residual lubricant pollution, particle attachment and other contamination. 4.4.2 The surface of the wire should be free of notches, pits, scratches, cracks and other defects that reduce mechanical properties and affect use that exceed the allowable diameter deviation.
5 Test methods
5.1 Chemical composition analysis method
The analysis method of alloy elements shall be carried out in accordance with GB6987.1~~6987.21. 5.2 Mechanical properties test
The mechanical properties test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB10573: the breaking force and elongation shall be measured in the standard test, the standard length of the tensile specimen is 100mm, and the tensile speed is 2~20mm/min. 5.3 Dimension measurement method
The dimensional measurement method shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GB/T15077, and the weighing method shall be used for arbitration. If the size is measured by weighing method. The density of A1-1%Si wire is 2.7g/cm°.
5.4 Surface quality inspection method

6 Inspection rules
6.1 Inspection and acceptance
The wire material shall be inspected by the supplier's technical supervision department and the product quality shall be guaranteed to meet the requirements of this standard, and a quality certificate shall be filled in. The buyer has the right to conduct a re-inspection according to this standard. If the re-inspection result does not meet the requirements of this standard, the supplier shall be notified within three months from the date of receipt of the product, and the supplier and buyer shall negotiate to resolve the issue. If arbitration is required, a unit recognized by both parties may be entrusted to conduct a re-inspection, and the supplier and buyer shall jointly take samples at the buyer's side. 6.2 Batching
Wire materials shall be submitted for inspection in batches. Each batch shall consist of wire materials of the same diameter, state and furnace number. 6.3 Inspection items
Each batch of wire materials shall be inspected for chemical composition, surface quality, dimensional deviation and mechanical properties. 6.4 Sampling
6.4.1 The chemical composition of the wire is sampled by furnace, and a sample is taken from each furnace for analysis. 6.4.2 1% of the wire in each batch is taken according to the number of shafts (not less than 2 shafts), and 3 samples are taken from each shaft for surface quality, dimensional deviation, and mechanical properties.
6.5 Judgment of test results
6.5.1 If the chemical composition is unqualified, the entire batch (furnace) is unqualified. 6.5.2 For the test of surface quality, dimensional deviation, and mechanical properties, even if one sample is unqualified, double the number of samples should be taken from the batch for repeated testing of the unqualified items. If one sample still fails after repeated tests, the whole batch of wires fails. 7 Packaging, marking, transportation, storage
