This standard applies to the special requirements for massage appliances in the safety of household and similar electrical appliances. It is equivalent to IEC335-2-32 ( 1987) "Safety of Household and Similar Electrical Appliances Part 2: Special Requirements for Massage Appliances". This standard should be used in conjunction with GB4706.1-92 "General safety requirements for household and similar electrical appliances". The parts of this standard that say "applicable" mean that the corresponding provisions in GB4706.1 are applicable to this standard; the parts of this standard that say "replace" should be subject to the provisions of this standard; "Explicitly added" part means that in addition to complying with the corresponding provisions in GB4706.1, the provisions added in this standard must also be complied with. 1 Scope

This standard applies to massage appliances for household and similar purposes. Massage appliances that are not used for general household use but are still dangerous when used in public places also fall within the scope of this standard. Massage appliances used in shops, light industry sectors and farms by people who are not familiar with the use of electricity. Appliances that are not mainly used for massage, but are equipped with massage accessories, should be included in the scope of the standard that reflects their main functions. Taking into account the special risks that exist in nurseries and other places where unattended people, old, young, sick and disabled, additional requirements are required

Normal load refers to the load obtained when the electrical appliance operates under the following conditions. . The hand-held massage appliance works without any other external load except the vibrating head. The massage appliance for the feet of a seated person (one foot or both feet) has a heavy load of 5kg (evenly) on its foot pedal. Works under the condition of being distributed on an area of ??10cm
The massage belt applies a force of 200N to the belt in the horizontal direction, so that the belt works under the conditions of approximately symmetry on both sides of the roller. The massage cushion must be placed when people are sitting. Between the two layers of felt, the whole thing is placed on a flat horizontal surface, and a load of 80kg is evenly placed on an area of ??30cm×30cm. The massage appliance operates under normal load and 1.1 times the rated voltage, and the working time is 48h minus the time required for the tests in Chapters 11, 12 and 13. Then the appliance works under normal load and 0.9 times rated voltage for 48 hours. The handheld massage appliance works in an intermittent manner and the working time is 20 minutes. The downtime between working hours shall be sufficient to ensure that the temperature rise of the appliance does not exceed the value measured during the test in Chapter 11. Other massage appliances work in a continuous manner or in corresponding cycles, with each cycle not less than 8 hours. Note: ①For hand-held massage appliances, strong cooling can be used to shorten the test time. ②The specified working hours are actual operating hours. ③If the massage appliance has more than one motor, the specified working time applies to each motor. 18.3 This article adds the following content

Whether it is qualified or not can be determined through the tests of the following articles: For Class 1 massage appliances with electric heating elements and massage beds with electric heating elements, if they are equipped with a temperature controller and can be limited to the temperature during the test period in Chapter 11, the test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Article 19.4. b. For handheld massage appliances with electric heating elements but not kept connected by hand, the test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of Article 19.5. For massage appliances equipped with motors with locked-rotor torque less than full load torque; for massage appliances and massage appliances equipped with capacitors in the auxiliary winding circuit that do not meet the requirements of c.

When the massage appliance is working under normal load, the thermostat used to limit the temperature during the test in Chapter 11 is short-circuited. The input power of the electric heating element is 1.24 times the maximum rated input power. The motor operates at a voltage equal to 1.06 times the rated voltage. If the massage appliance is equipped with more than one thermostat, these thermostats should be short-circuited in sequence. 19.5 This article is replaced by the following content
