Fire truck type test refers to the whole vehicle design type test, the purpose of which is to assess the design drawings, including whether the overall design, performance, reliability and materials meet the original design requirements, to ensure that it has excellent performance and reliability after production, and to meet the actual use requirements. The fire truck type test is a comprehensive quality assessment before the fire truck is put into production. This standard shall be implemented from November 1, 1996. From the date of implementation, the fire truck type test shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of this standard. Appendix A and Appendix B of this standard are both standard appendices. Appendix C of this standard is a prompt appendix.
This standard is proposed by the Ministry of Public Security of the People's Republic of China. 1 Scope

Fire vehicle-engineering approval evaluation programGB16279-1996
This standard specifies the implementation conditions, test items, test procedures and test report contents of the fire vehicle type test. This standard applies to various types of fire trucks produced domestically, produced with foreign technology and jointly designed and manufactured by China and foreign countries. Fire motorcycles can refer to this standard for implementation. 2 Reference standards
The reference standards are shown in Appendix B (Appendix to the standard). 3 Implementation conditions
3.1 The test sample vehicle shall be provided by the manufacturer applying for the type test. 3.2 Number of sample vehicles: If the annual output is less than 600 vehicles, the test sample vehicle shall not be less than 1. If the annual output is greater than or equal to 600 vehicles, the test sample vehicle shall not be less than 2.
3.3 Before the test, the manufacturer must provide the following documents: a) Product description (main technical characteristics and performance parameters); b) Brief instructions for use and maintenance (including special fire-fighting equipment); c) Test reports of the whole vehicle and assembly parts that have been conducted during the development process; d) Documents that can prove that the inspection and confirmation items in Table A1 of Appendix A (Appendix to the standard) meet the requirements of the corresponding standards. 3.4 The finalization test unit shall formulate the test outline in accordance with this standard and conduct finalization tests. For test items that have been conducted by the manufacturer before the finalization test, if the finalization test unit verifies that they fully meet the requirements of this standard, they may be exempted from the test. 3.5 If one of the following situations occurs during the finalization test, the finalization test unit has the right to decide to terminate the test. a) The safety of the test or driving cannot be guaranteed;
b) The main parts and components are damaged and the manufacturer cannot provide qualified spare parts within one week. 4 Test items and methods
The test items are divided into four categories: F0, F1, F2, and F3. See Table 1 for each type of test item, and see Table 2 for the classification of F0, F1, F2, and F3. Table 1

Inspect the test sample, focusing on the steering, braking and other parts that affect driving safety and the special fire-fighting parts, and make detailed records.
4.2 Running-in
The running-in of the sample shall be carried out in accordance with the factory regulations. Parts and components shall not be replaced at will, and detailed records shall be made. 4.3 Inspection, confirmation and testing of items specified by mandatory standards and laws and regulations 4.3.1 Inspect and confirm the requirements that must be met and the devices that must be installed as specified by mandatory standards, laws and regulations, and record the results. For the inspection items, see the inspection and confirmation items table in Table A1 in Appendix A. 4.3.2 Whole vehicle
4.3.2.1 Measurement of external dimension parameters, according to GB/T12673, the results must comply with GB1589, 1.2 of GB7258-87 and Table 1 and Table 2 of GB7956-87. The main items are as follows: vehicle length, width, height, wheelbase, track, front overhang, rear overhang, approach angle, departure angle, minimum ground clearance. 4.3.2.2 Measurement of the position of external lighting and signal devices The installation position of the external lighting and signal devices that are mandatory according to Table 2 of GB4785-84 shall be measured. The number, position and light color of the external lighting and signal devices must comply with the regulations. 4.3.2.3 Measurement of emission pollutants
a) Measurement of HC and CO concentrations of gasoline vehicles under idling conditions, according to GB3845, must comply with the provisions of Chapter 5 of GB14761.5-93. b) Exhaust smoke measurement under free acceleration condition of diesel engine shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 5 of GB14761.6-93 in accordance with GB3846. c) Exhaust pollutant measurement under driving condition of light vehicle (total mass ≤ 3.5t) shall comply with Table 1 of GB14761.1-93 in accordance with GB11642.
4.3.2.4 Noise measurement:
a) External noise measurement under acceleration shall comply with GB1496 and GB1495. b) Internal noise measurement shall comply with 4.7 of GB6244-86 in accordance with GB1496. 4.3.2.5 Braking performance test
a) Braking system performance test shall comply with relevant provisions in accordance with ZBT24007. b) Braking performance inspection test, according to 4.13 of GB7258-87, must comply with Table 1 and Table 2 of GB725887. 4.3.2.6 Field of vision measurement
a) Driver's front field of vision, according to GB11562-94, must comply with the relevant provisions. 476

b) Rearview mirror field of vision, according to Chapter 6 of GB15084-94, must comply with the relevant provisions. 4.3.2.7 Fire truck radio interference measurement, according to Chapter 5 of GB14023-92, must comply with Figure 1 of GB14023-92. 4.3.3 Fire truck water system
4.3.3.1 Strength and sealing test of water outlet pipe, according to 3.7 of GB7956-87, must comply with 2.2.3 of GB7956-87. 4.3.3.2 Maximum vacuum and sealing test, according to 3.8 of GB7956-87, must comply with GB795 6--2.2.4 of 87. 4.3.3.3 The maximum suction depth and water diversion time test at the maximum suction depth shall be in accordance with 3.9 of GB7956-87 and shall comply with 2.2.5 of GB7956-87. 4.3.3.4 The water diversion device reliability test shall be in accordance with 2.6.3 of GB6245-86. 4.3.3.5 The water discharge flow rate and water discharge pressure test of the fire truck shall be in accordance with 3.10.1.2 of GB7956-87 and shall comply with Table 5 and Table 6 of GB7956--87.
4.3.3.6 Rated spray pressure of fire monitors shall be in accordance with Table 8 of GB7956-87. 4.3.3.7 Measurement of fire monitor range shall be in accordance with 3.13 of GB7956-87 and shall comply with Table 8 of GB7956-87. 4.3.4 Foam system of fire trucks
4.3:4.1 Rated spray pressure of foam monitors shall be in accordance with Table 9 of GB7956-87. Measurement of foam monitor range shall be in accordance with 3.13 of GB7956-87 and shall comply with Table 9 of GB7956-87. 4.3.4.2
Determination of foaming multiple shall be in accordance with 3.15 of GB7956-87 and shall comply with Table 9 of GB7956-87. 4.3.4.32

shall be in accordance with 3.16.5 of GB7956-87 and shall comply with Table 10 of GB7956-87. The effective spray rate test of dry powder cannon shall comply with Table 10 of GB7956-87 according to 3.16.6 of GB7956-87. 4.3.5.5
4.3.5.6 The effective range test of dry powder cannon shall comply with Table 10 of GB7956-87 according to 3.16.4 of GB7956-87. 4.3.6 The stability test of the lifting system of fire truck shall comply with 3.17.2.1 and 3.17.2.2 of GB7956--87 and 2.5.1 of GB7956-87. 4.3.6.1
4.3.6.2 The safety performance test of use shall comply with 3.20 of GB7956--87. In accordance with 2.5.4 of GB7956-87. 4.3.6.3 Strength determination of boom and ladder frame, in accordance with 3.18 of GB7956--87, must comply with 2.5.2 of GB7956-87. 4.3.7 Fire truck transmission system
4.3.7.1 Continuous working time test, in accordance with 3.10 of GB7956-87, must comply with 2.2.6 of GB7956-87. 4.3.7.2 Overload operation test, in accordance with 3.11 of GB7956-87, must comply with 2.2.7 of GB7956-87. 4.4 Vehicle parameter measurement
4.4.1 Vehicle mass parameter measurement, in accordance with GB/T12674. The main items are as follows: vehicle curb weight, total mass, axle load and axle load rate of each axle in curb state and full load state. 4.4.2 Measurement of center of gravity height, in accordance with GB/T12588. Measurement of the maximum stable roll angle of the vehicle (or calculation based on the center of gravity height). 4.4.3 Measurement of steering parameters:
a) Maximum steering wheel angle (left, right);
b) Maximum steering wheel angle (left, right);
c) Wheel alignment parameters (toe-in, wheel camber, kingpin inclination, kingpin castor). 4.4.4 Measurement of minimum turning diameter, in accordance with GB/T12540. 4.4.5 Measurement of driving wheel rolling radius, in accordance with GB/T12548. 4.5 Technical condition driving inspection, in accordance with GB/T12677, and calibrate the odometer at the same time. 4.6 Speedometer calibration, in accordance with GB/T12548. 477
4.7 Coasting test, in accordance with GB/T12536.
4.8 Power performance test
4.8.1 Acceleration performance test, according to GB/T12543: GB16279-1996
a) Direct gear (or common gear) acceleration performance test; b) Stationary start continuous gear shift acceleration performance test. 4.8.2 Maximum vehicle speed test, according to GB/T12544. 4.9 Fuel economy test, according to GB/T12545: a) Direct gear (or common gear) constant speed driving fuel consumption test; b) Multi-operating condition fuel consumption test.
4.10 Handling stability test:
a) Steady-state turning test, according to GB6323.6; b) Steering return performance test, according to GB6323.4; c) Steering lightness test, according to GB6323.5. 4.11 Ride comfort test, according to GB4970. 4.12 Body (cab) sealing performance test: a) Rainproof sealing test, according to GB/T12480; b) Dustproof sealing test, according to GB/T12478. 4.13 Regional adaptability Test (optional) 4.13.1 Adaptability test in cold regions:
a) Cold start performance test, according to GB/T12535; b) Heating performance test, according to GB/T12782. 4.13.2 Adaptability test in hot regions:
a) Cooling system cooling capacity test, according to GB/T12542; b) Oil supply system anti-gas blocking capacity test, according to GB/T12781; c) Cab insulation and ventilation performance test, according to GB/T12546; d) Air conditioning performance test.
4.14 Fire performance test
4.14.1 Determination of fire water monitor flow rate, according to 3.12 of GB7956--87, must comply with Table 8 of GB7956-87. 4.14.2 Determination of fire foam monitor flow rate, according to 3.12 of GB7956-87, must comply with Table 9 of GB7956-87. The rated filling volume of dry powder tanks shall be determined according to Table 10 of GB7956-87. 4.14.3
The operating performance test of aerial fire trucks shall be in accordance with 3.19 of GB7956-87. The hydraulic system of aerial fire trucks shall be in accordance with GB3766. 4.14.6 The hydraulic components used in aerial fire trucks shall be in accordance with JB2146 and GB7935. 4.14.7
The adjustment pressure of the safety relief valve of the hydraulic system shall be in accordance with 3.21 of GB.7956-87 and shall comply with 2.5.5 of GB7956-87. 4.14.8 The action stability test of aerial fire trucks shall be in accordance with 3.22 of GB7956-87 and shall comply with 2.5.6 of GB7956-87. 4.14.9 The reliability check of electrical limit shall be carried out on aerial fire trucks. 4.15 Reliability driving test
4.15.1 The reliability driving test of fire trucks shall be conducted in the automobile test field approved by the national automobile industry competent department according to the prescribed test specifications.
4.15.2 The reliability driving test of series models can be conducted by the manufacturer by selecting representative models. The selection of representative models should subject all assemblies to the most stringent assessment.
4.16 Performance retest
After the reliability driving test of FO, F1 fire trucks is completed, the performance retest of the whole vehicle shall be carried out. Before the retest, maintenance and adjustment can be carried out according to the vehicle manual. The retest items include 4.3.2.3, 4.3.2.4, 4.3.2.5b), 4.5, 4.7, 4.8, and 4.9 of this standard. 5 Test report
After the finalization test is completed, the test unit shall compile the finalization test report. The main contents are as follows: a) Source of the test task;
b) Purpose of the test;

d) Main standards for the test;
e) Test conditions;
f) Test items and test results.
