This standard specifies the classification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage and technical guarantee requirements of explosion-proof finned tube electric heaters (hereinafter referred to as electric heaters) for explosion-proof motors and explosion-proof components. General technical conditions

5 Technical requirements
JB/T7836.3—1995
5.1 In addition to meeting the following technical requirements, electric heaters (or electric heating elements) shall also meet the technical requirements of Chapter 5 of JB/T7836.1 and follow the inspection procedures specified in Chapter 31 of GB3836.1. Designated by the state Design and manufacture based on drawings and technical documents approved by explosion-proof inspection units.
5.2 Design requirements

1-Connection; 2--Insulation of pipe mouth; 3-Connecting conductor inside the pipe 4-Metal pipe: 5-Electrical insulating medium; 6-Heating element: 7-Metal sheet 5.2.1 The electric heater (or electric heating element) shall use a metal shell with a thickness of not less than 1mm, and the surface of the shell shall be treated with rust prevention. For electric heaters used in acetylene gas mixtures, the metal shell shall not be made of copper or copper alloy. 5.2.2 A grounding bolt shall be provided on the metal pipe shell. The grounding bolt shall be made of stainless material or be subjected to rust prevention treatment such as electroplating. 5.2.3 Junction Box
The connection between the electric heating element and the wiring must be carried out in the junction box; the junction box should be designed as a flameproof or increased safety explosion-proof structure; the connection parts between the junction box and the wiring should not be affected by the temperature of the electric heating element. In addition to the above requirements, the structure of the electric heater should also meet the requirements of C20.1a~f in Appendix C of GB3836.1. The electric heater should be equipped with a temperature protection device. The device can be a temperature protection device that meets the requirements of item a or item b below. When the electric heater reaches the specified working temperature, the power supply of the electric heater should be cut off immediately and shall not be automatically reset. Note: The specified working temperature refers to the maximum surface temperature that shall not exceed the maximum surface temperature specified in Article 5.1.1 under any circumstances, and the power supply of the electric heater shall be cut off immediately when this temperature is reached.
Within the specified temperature range, the temperature can be controlled by the temperature adjustment device. When the specified temperature range is exceeded, an alarm should be given immediately and the power supply of the electric heater should be cut off. b.

5.2.6 If the test proves that the temperature of the electric heater does not exceed 80% of the value specified in Table 1 of GB3836.1 under any condition of power on, the temperature protection device may not be provided.
5.2.7 The temperature protection device shall be provided with a temperature detector. a.
The temperature detector shall have a fast response speed and high accuracy (such as thermocouple, thermistor and temperature measuring resistor, etc.); the junction box of the temperature detector may be shared with the junction box of the electric heater, but a partition shall be provided to prevent misconnection; b.
Insulation.
Temperature detector elements such as temperature measuring resistors and thermocouples shall be installed in metal protective tubes, and the tubes shall be filled with powdered inorganic insulators. 5.3 Performance requirements
5.3.1 Maximum surface temperature

The surface temperature of the electric heater shall comply with the provisions of Table 1 in GB3836.1. Note: For the electric heater in the increased safety brushless phosphorus-excited synchronous motor used in the hydrogenation unit, its maximum surface temperature shall not exceed 80% of the value specified in Table 1 in GB3836.1 under any circumstances.
If the user has special requirements for this item, it can be determined by negotiation between the supply and demand parties. 5.3.2 The connector on the lead-out rod shall be able to withstand the torsion test specified in Chapter 23 of GB3836.1 without rotation or damage. 5.3.3 Insulation resistance
a. The cold insulation resistance between live parts and non-live parts shall not be less than 50Mα; b. The hot insulation resistance between live parts and non-live parts shall not be less than 1Mα. 5.3.4 Insulation withstand voltage strength
The live parts and non-live parts of electric heaters and electric heating elements must withstand the insulation withstand voltage strength test lasting 1 minute and shall not be broken down.
Electric heaters and electric heating elements shall be able to withstand the specified degree of power on and off alternating test, immersion test and wet heat test. 6 Test method
6.1 Insulation resistance measurement
Use a DC500V megohmmeter to measure the cold insulation resistance between live parts and non-live parts; a.
Use a DC500V megohmmeter to measure the hot insulation resistance between live parts and non-live parts after the temperature test. b.
6.2 Torsion test of connecting parts
The electric heater shall be subjected to a torsion test in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 23 of GB3836.1. 6.3
Temperature test
The temperature test shall comply with the provisions of Chapter 24 of GB3836.1 in addition to the following provisions. 6.3.1 After matching with the temperature protection device, the test shall be conducted under the condition of the highest temperature rise rate. When the temperature protection device cuts off the power supply of the electric heater, the measured temperature shall comply with the provisions of Article 5.1.1. 6.3.2 Each temperature protection device shall be subjected to the temperature test of Article 6.3.1. 6.3.3 If the temperature protection device fails to reach the working temperature in the test of 6.3.2, the power supply voltage of the electric heater shall be increased or the electric heater shall be wrapped with insulation material to raise the temperature and then the test shall be conducted. 6.4 Insulation withstand voltage strength test
The insulation withstand voltage strength test shall be conducted after the temperature test. After the temperature test, the live parts and non-live parts of the electric heater and electric heating element must withstand the insulation withstand voltage strength test of 50Hz, 1.1×(1500V+2U%) (minimum 2000V) for 1min without being broken down. 6.5 Electric heaters and electric heating elements must also undergo the following four tests: 6.5.1 Power-on and power-off alternating test
Power on for 1min at 1.1 times the rated voltage and rated frequency, and power off for 4min as one cycle. After repeating the test for 2000 cycles, withstand the voltage withstand test of the AC voltage shown in the following formula for 1min: 0.8×(2U+1.500V)

(minimum 1600V)
with 1.1 times rated voltage, rated current for 5 minutes, fully immersed in water for 25 minutes in the power-off state as one cycle, repeat the test for 50 cycles, place in the atmosphere for 40 minutes, and then withstand 1 minute, AC voltage electrical strength test specified in Article 6.5.1. 6.5.3 Damp heat test
After placing in a damp heat test box with a temperature of (40 ± 5) ℃ and a relative humidity of (90 ± 5)% for 24 hours, wipe off the moisture immediately, and use a 500V megohmmeter to measure the resistance value between the live part and the non-live part, which shall not be less than 10MQ. 3
Performance test of temperature protection device
JB/T7836.3-1995
Perform the performance test of the temperature protection device according to the requirements of Article 5.2.5 to confirm that it can work normally at the specified temperature. This test must be carried out 5 times.
6.6 The test methods for other technical requirements shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions in JB/T7836.1. 7 Inspection rules
7.1 Electric heaters (or electric heating elements) must be sent to the national designated explosion-proof inspection unit for inspection, and can only be produced after obtaining the explosion-proof certificate. The inspection procedure should comply with the provisions of Chapter 31 of GB3836.1. 7.2 The inspection of electric heaters (or electric heating elements) is divided into factory inspection and type inspection. 7.2.1 Factory inspection
All products proposed for delivery shall be tested according to the prescribed factory test items. Each product shall be inspected and qualified by the enterprise's quality inspection management department, and shall be accompanied by a product certificate or have a qualified mark specified by the manufacturer on the product before it can be shipped. In addition to the items specified in Table 2 of Article 7.1 of JB/T7836.1, the factory test shall also be subject to the following inspection tests: a.
Temperature test;
Hot insulation resistance measurement.
7.2.2 Type test
According to the provisions of 7.2.1 of JB/T7836.1,
According to the provisions of 7.2.2 of JB/T7836.1.
The number of products used for type test shall not be less than two each time. In addition to completing the inspection tests of various items in the factory inspection and the inspection tests of items No. 2, 4, 5, 9, 13, 14, and 15 in Table 3 of Article 7.2 of JB/T7836.1, the type test shall also conduct the following tests: a.

8 Marking, packaging, transportation and storage
8.1 The product should have the following permanent markings:

9 Technical guarantee
