This standard applies to solid caustic soda boilers that are directly heated by flames to concentrate sodium hydroxide solution. If the purchaser requires the addition of chromium or other alloy elements, it shall be proposed in the order contract and agreed upon by the supply and demand parties Table 1 Chemical composition of cast iron for solid alkali boiler Chemical composition 4.2 Tensile strength The tensile strength of cast iron for solid alkali boiler shall not be less than 180MPa4.3 Appearance quality 4.3.1 The molding sand, pouring riser, burrs, etc. on the inner and outer surfaces of the solid alkali boiler shall be cleaned. 4.3.2 The uneven surface of the solid alkali boiler shall be polished flat. 4.4 Casting defects and welding repairs 4.4.1 Cracks and shrinkage defects are not allowed on the inner and outer surfaces of the boiler below the flange radius of the solid alkali boiler. 4.4.2 Minor defects on the inner and outer surfaces of the solid alkali boiler are allowed when the following conditions are met: a. The equivalent diameter of the defect is less than or equal to 15mm; the actual wall thickness at the defect is not less than the wall thickness in the drawing minus 5mm. b. The number of defects is not more than 4 within an area of 100cm, and the total number does not exceed 10. Welding repairs are not allowed on the inner surface of the arc part of the boiler. 4.4.34 For defects such as slag inclusions and pores on the inner and outer surfaces of the cylindrical part and the outer surface of the arc part of the pot body, welding repair is allowed. The defect range 44.4 and welding repair method shall comply with the following provisions: The defect area shall not exceed 25cm2, and the distance between the edges shall not be less than 50mm; b. When the defect depth is not greater than 1/4 of the wall thickness, electric welding with iron-nickel welding rods or cast iron welding rods is allowed; when the defect depth is greater than 1/4 to 1/2 of the wall thickness, gas welding should be used for welding. After welding, stress relief heat treatment should be carried out immediately; the total number of weld repairs shall not exceed 4; The defective parts should be cleaned before welding; the weld repaired parts should be polished and smooth after welding, and checked with a magnifying glass of more than 5 times, and there should be no cracks. 4.5 The solid alkali pot should be aged after casting, and the specific details shall be negotiated by the supplier and the supplier. 4.6 The general dimensional tolerance of the solid alkali pot shall comply with the provisions of CT13 grade in GB6414. Each pot shall be inspected and shall comply with the provisions of Article 4.3. Marking and factory documents The following words should be cast on the solid alkali boiler: a. Manufacturer's registered trademark or manufacturer's name; product manufacturing year and serial number 7.2, the solid alkali boiler should be accompanied by the following documents when it leaves the factory: a.
