Implemented on August 1, 1996
CB/T3243.1—1995
In the nearly ten years since the implementation of the original CB'3243.186, the terms and definitions of ship design drawings and technical documents stipulated in it have played a good role in standardizing the accurate expression of the concepts related to drawings and technical documents compiled in the process of ship industry product design. However, with the rapid development of shipbuilding technology, the concepts related to it are also constantly developing and changing, and the content of the original standard can no longer meet the needs of ship product drawings and technical documents management. In the process of cleaning up and rectifying the current standards of the shipbuilding industry in 1992, the final technical conclusion opinions on revising the original CB*3243.1-86 were put forward. This revision is based on the original terms and the results of extensive consultation, and 22 new terms have been added. The terms listed in this standard are only the basic terms commonly used in the ship product drawing management system. In order to make the arrangement of the content of the terminology logical and easy to use, the terms included in the standard are arranged into four parts during this revision: a) Product and its components
b) Product design and trial production process
c) Drawings
d) Technical documents
CB/T3243 includes six independent parts under the general title of "Management of Drawings and Technical Documents of Ship Products": Part 1 (i.e. CB/T3243.1): Terminology Part 2 (i.e. CB/T3243.2): Basic requirements Part 3 (i.e. CB/T3243.3): Basic format Part 4 (i.e. CB/T3243.4): Modification provisions Part 5 (i.e. CB/T3243.5): Completeness Part 6 (i.e. CB/T3243.6): Standardization check This standard is Part 1 (i.e. CB/T3243.1): Terminology. This standard will replace CB3243.1-86 after it is implemented on August 1, 1996.
This standard is proposed by the Ship Foundation Sub-Technical Committee of the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Marine Ships. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Comprehensive Technical and Economic Research Institute of China State Shipbuilding Corporation. The drafting unit of this standard: Comprehensive Technical and Economic Research Institute of China State Shipbuilding Corporation. The main drafter of this standard: Wang Suqing.
This standard was first issued in 1986 and this is the first revision. 1 Scope
