Changes have been made to the clauses that are not applicable to briquette. The main changes are as follows: The size range of briquette to which the standard applies is specified; the mass of briquette blocks with a size greater than 13mm after the test is used to calculate the drop strength. This standard was proposed by the Science and Technology Development Department of the China Coal Industry Association. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Coal Standardization Technical Committee. The drafting unit of this standard: Coal Analysis Laboratory of the China Coal Research Institute. The main drafters of this standard: Li Hongtu, Yao Enti, Han Jinde. This standard is formulated for the first time. 1 Scopebzxz.net Determination method of falling strength of industrial briquette MT/T925--2004 This standard specifies the instruments and equipment, briquette samples, determination steps, result expression and method precision for determination of falling strength of industrial briquette. This standard applies to various industrial briquette. 2 Normative references The clauses in the following documents become the clauses of this standard through reference in this standard. For any dated referenced document, all subsequent amendments (excluding errata) or revisions are not applicable to this standard. MT/T915 Method for sampling industrial briquette MT/T916 Method for preparing industrial briquette samples 3 Summary of the method A certain amount of briquette sample is freely dropped from a height of 2m onto a steel plate of specified thickness. The briquette blocks with a particle size greater than 13mm in the fallen briquette are dropped again for a total of 3 times. The percentage of the mass of the briquette blocks with a particle size greater than 13mm after the third drop to the mass of the prototype coal sample is used to express the falling strength of the briquette. 4 Instruments and Equipment 4.1 Balance: Sensitivity 1g. 4.2 Round hole sieve: aperture 13mm. 4.3 Test stand: as shown in Figure 1. The steel plate thickness is not less than 15mm, about 1200mm long and 900mm wide. The surrounding baffles are about 200mm high. It is best to have one side movable for easy cleaning. The marking rod is adjustable. 1—marking rod; 2—baffle; 3—steel plate. Figure 1 Schematic diagram of the test stand MT/T925-2004 5 Collection and preparation of shaped coal samples According to the provisions of MT/T915, shaped coal samples are collected, and then 6kg shaped coal samples are divided by the long belt method according to the provisions of MT/T916, of which at least 60 are basically complete in appearance and without cracks. The samples are air-dried, and after removing the incomplete and cracked shaped coals, the remaining shaped coal samples are divided into 10 small blocks of equal area according to Figure 2. Randomly take one shaped coal from each small block, a total of 10 as one sample, and take another 10 as another sample in the same way. Figure 2 Sampling Schematic Diagram 6 Determination Steps Weigh the mass of one sample, accurate to 1g. The samples are dropped freely onto the steel plate from a height of 2m on the test stand. After dropping, the briquette blocks with a particle size greater than 13mm are screened out. The briquette blocks are dropped and screened three times in the same way. After each briquette falls, the drop position should be cleaned before the next briquette drop test is carried out. The mass of the briquette blocks with a particle size greater than 13mm after the third screening is weighed to the nearest 1g. 7 Result calculation 7.1 The drop strength of briquette is calculated according to formula (1): DS(%) = m × 100 Where: DS——drop strength; ml——mass of briquette blocks with a particle size greater than 13mm after the test, in grams (g); m—mass of the sample, in grams (g). 7.2 The calculation result is rounded to two decimal places. The arithmetic mean of the repeated measurement results is rounded to the nearest decimal place and reported. 8 Method precision The difference between the results of two repeated tests shall not exceed 10% of the mean value. 2 .
