This standard specifies the name, code, size, tolerance, inspection method, marking and packaging of pipe thread gauges for thread sealing. This standard is applicable to the inspection of the dimensions of tapered threads and cylindrical internal threads specified in GB/T7306. 2 Referenced Standards

It is divided into tapered thread working gauge and tapered thread calibration gauge according to its performance. Tapered thread working gauge: refers to the thread gauge used by the operator in the process of manufacturing the workpiece thread. Tapered thread calibration gauge: refers to the thread gauge used when manufacturing the thread working ring gauge and checking whether the working thread ring gauge in use has been worn.

The base surface of the internal thread of the workpiece should be between the two measuring surfaces of the plug gauge or flush with the measuring surface

11.1 The thread gauge and product packaging box shall be marked with: a) manufacturer's name or registered trademark;
b) thread gauge code and size code;

11 Marking and packaging
11.1 The thread gauge and product packaging box shall be marked with: a) manufacturer's name or registered trademark;
b) thread gauge code and size code;

c) year of manufacture (the product packaging box may not be marked). 11.2 The thread gauge shall be treated with rust prevention before packaging and properly packaged. The product shall not be damaged during transportation due to poor packaging.
11.3 The thread gauge shall be accompanied by a product certificate after verification and proved to comply with the provisions of this standard. The product certificate shall have the standard number, gauge code, size code and year of manufacture of this standard. 463
