1.1 See the figure for the geometric shape and size of the specimen (figure omitted) 1 Specimen
1.1.1 The thickness of the specimen is 2 to 3 mm. The thickness of the arbitration specimen is 2 mm . 1.1.2 When only the Poisson's ratio is measured, the length of the working section of the specimen can be appropriately lengthened. 1.2 Requirements for reinforcement sheets and their bonding:
1.2.1 The reinforcement sheets can be made of suitable materials with a similar elastic modulus to the test material, such as aluminum plates. 1.2.2 The adhesive should be a high-strength, flexible adhesive that cures at room temperature or whose curing temperature is lower than the molding temperature of the test material. It should be ensured that the reinforcement sheets do not fall off during the test. 1.2.3 When roughening and cleaning the surface of the specimen where the reinforcement sheets are bonded, the fibers are not allowed to be damaged. 1.2.4 The reinforcement sheets on both sides of the specimen should be symmetrical.
1.3 The number of specimens in each group should be no less than 5. The arbitration test should be no less than 10. Page 4bzxZ.net

2 Test Conditions
2.1 Sample state adjustment and test standard environment shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB1446-83 "General Principles for Performance Test Methods of Fiber Reinforced Plastics",
2.2 Test equipment shall comply with the relevant provisions of GB1446-83. 2.3 Loading speed is 1~2mm/min. 1mm/min for arbitration test. 2.4 See Appendix A (Supplement) Figure A1 for the schematic diagram of the clamp for compression test. Or use other suitable clamps. 2.5 If strain gauges are used to measure strain, the grid length shall not be greater than 3mm, and the strain gauges on both sides of the specimen shall be symmetrical. 《Test Method for Unidirectional Fiber 1 Properties》

3 Test Procedures
3.1 Prepare the specimens in accordance with the provisions of GB1446-83 and Article 1.2 of this standard. 3.2 Check the appearance of the specimens in accordance with the provisions of GB1446-83. 3.3 Condition the specimens in accordance with the provisions of GB1446-83. 3.4 Number the qualified specimens and measure the width and thickness at any three points in the working section and take the arithmetic mean. The measurement accuracy shall be in accordance with GB1446-83.
3.5 Install the specimens in the compression fixture, see Appendix A (Supplement) Figure A2. Place a preload pad between the upper and lower wedges of the compression fixture to keep the distance between the two wedges at 14 mm. Place it on the pressure plate of the testing machine, align it to the center, and add preload. 3.6 When measuring the compressive strength, apply the load evenly and continuously until the sample is destroyed, and record the maximum load value and the sample destruction mode.
3.7 When measuring the compression modulus, Poisson's ratio and stress-strain curve, apply the initial load (about 5% of the destruction load), check and adjust the sample and instrument to make it in normal working condition, then continuously apply the load and automatically record the corresponding strain. Or use graded loading with a grade difference of 5 to 10% of the destruction load (at least 5 grades when measuring the compression elastic modulus and Poisson's ratio) and record the loads and corresponding strain values at each level.
3.8 Draw the load-strain curve
3.9 The samples with the falling off of the reinforcement sheet, the extrusion damage of the end and the damage only occurring in the reinforcement sheet should be invalidated. When there are less than 5 valid test data in the same batch or less than 10 arbitration tests, the test should be repeated. Page 6

4.1 The compressive strength is calculated according to formula (1):
4 Calculation
Where: oC
-compressive strength, kgf/cm[2] (MPa); Pb——breaking load, kgf;
b——specimen width, cm;
h—specimen thickness, cm.
Note: 1MPa=1N/mm[2]~10
4.2 The compressive elastic modulus is calculated according to formula (2): Ec
Where: Ec-
2kgf/cm[2].
-compressive elastic modulus, kgf/cm[2] (MPa): PThe load increment of the initial straight line segment on the load-strain curve: The strain increment corresponding to P.
Note: When the load-strain curve has no initial straight line segment, the initial tangent modulus or secant modulus is taken as the elastic modulus 4.3 to draw the compressive stress-strain curve.
4.4 The compressive Poisson's ratio is calculated according to formula (3):
or: μ
In the formula: uc-
-compressive Poisson's ratio:
1-longitudinal strain in the initial straight line segment of the stress-strain curve; 1-transverse strain
-corresponding to
Note: When the stress-strain curve has no initial straight line segment, it is processed according to the method noted in Article 4.2. ·(3)
