This standard is the first revision of SY5599--93 "Regulations on the Preparation of Well Completion Maps for Petroleum and Natural Gas Exploration", and is renamed "Specifications for the Preparation of Geological Maps for Oil and Gas Exploration Well Completion".

4.2.3.6 Color: Draw according to the color symbols specified in 22.1.10 of SY5615-93. 4.2.3.7 Lithology section:
a) Draw the grain size section according to 22.1, 22.2, 22.3 and 22.3 (reference) in SY5615--93. b) Layers with a thickness less than 0.5m. Lithology is treated as strips. Special lithology and oil-bearing layers with a thickness less than 0.5m are expanded to 0.5m.
c) The contact relationship of the strata in the section is drawn according to 23.1.1 in SY5615--93. d) For sections without lithology data, the electrical interpretation results can be used. In the section, the symbols specified in 4.2.3.7 a) are drawn at the corresponding positions, but no color symbols are drawn.
