Some standard content:

GB/T7350—1999
Waterproof packaging is a protective measure taken to prevent the quality of industrial products such as machinery and electronics from being affected by water during circulation.
This standard mainly revised the following contents when GB/T73501987 "Technical Conditions for Waterproof Packaging" was revised: a small number of uncommon structures were removed from the commonly used waterproof packaging methods (container structures), and some new waterproof materials were added and revised into Appendix A (indicative appendix).
This standard will replace GB/T7350—1987 from the date of implementation. Appendix A of this standard is an indicative appendix. Www.bzxZ.net
This standard was proposed by China Packaging Corporation. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Packaging Standardization Technical Committee. The responsible drafting units of this standard are: Mechanical Science Research Institute, Changzhou Shenglong Packaging Materials Co., Ltd. The main drafters of this standard are: Li Xuelong, Ma Yaoliang, Yang Lu, Huang Xue, Chen Guoyao. This standard was first issued on February 26, 1987. 403

3.1 When a product requires waterproof packaging, the waterproof packaging level requirements for the product packaging must be specified in the product technical documents. 3.2 The waterproof level of the packaging should be determined based on factors such as the nature of the product, the circulation environment, and possible water damage. 3.3 The waterproof packaging level is divided into Class A level 1 packaging, level 2 packaging, level 3 packaging and Class B level 1 packaging, level 2 packaging, level 3 packaging, see Table 1 for details.

GB/T4857.9 spray test, test time 5min. 3.4.1 If the packaged product is in bad environmental conditions during storage and transportation, it may be damaged by water and sink under the water surface for a certain period of time. Class A 1 packaging can be selected.
3.4.2 If the packaged product is in bad environmental conditions during storage and transportation, it may be damaged by water and sink under the water surface for a short period of time. Class A 2 packaging can be selected.
3.4.3 If the bottom or part of the packaged product is in bad environmental conditions during storage and transportation, it may be immersed in water for a short period of time. Class A 3 packaging can be selected. 3.4.4 If the package is basically stored in the open air during storage and transportation, Class B Level 1 packaging can be used. Approved by the State Administration of Quality and Technical Supervision on September 7, 1999 404

GB/T 7350—1999
3.4.5 If the package is stored in the open air for part of the time during storage and transportation, Class B Level 2 packaging can be used. 3.4.6 If the package may be exposed to rain for a short period of time during storage and transportation, Class B Level 3 packaging can be used. 4 Requirements
4.1 General requirements
4.1.1 Waterproof packaging should ensure that the product quality will not be affected by water seepage due to poor waterproof packaging within one year from the date of leaving the factory. 4.1.2 Waterproof packaging is generally used on the outer packaging. If necessary, waterproof measures can also be taken on the inner packaging. 4.1.3 Waterproof packaging containers should be tightly sealed after filling with products. 4.1.4 Rainproof measures should be taken for the ventilation holes of the outer packaging box to prevent rainwater from intruding. 4.2 Material requirements
4.2.1 Waterproof packaging materials should have good water resistance. Commonly used waterproof packaging materials include: polyethylene low-foaming waterproof barrier film, composite film, plastic film, oil paper, etc. Auxiliary materials include: waterproof adhesive tape, waterproof adhesive, etc. 4.2.2 The quality of the selected waterproof packaging materials should comply with the provisions of relevant product standards and relevant national laws and regulations. 4.2.3 Waterproof packaging materials should have a certain strength to withstand various mechanical hazards during the circulation process. 4.2.4 In addition to requiring a certain strength and water resistance, the waterproof packaging materials used for the outermost should also have anti-aging, anti-pollution, anti-insect bite, and anti-disease properties.
4.2.5 The waterproof packaging materials used for the top covers of large and medium-sized wooden boxes should have sufficient length and width, with a margin of not less than 100mm. 4.2.6 When waterproof materials need to be spliced, the overlap method should be convenient for rainwater to flow out, and the overlap width should be not less than 60mm. 4.3 Environmental requirements
The packaging environment should be clean, dry, and free of harmful substances. 5 Waterproof packaging methods
Common waterproof packaging methods (container structures) can be selected according to Appendix A (suggested appendix). 6 Test methods
6.1 Class A level 1 packaging, level 2 packaging, and level 3 packaging shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of GB/T4857.12. 6.2 Class B level 1 packaging, level 2 packaging, and level 3 packaging shall be carried out in accordance with the relevant provisions of GB/T4857.9. 6.3 After the package is tested, the outer packaging container should not have obvious deformation. The markings on the box surface should be firm and clear. 6.4 After the package is tested, the waterproof sealing degree of the package shall meet one of the following requirements according to the nature of the product: a) There is no water seepage or leakage in the package.
b) There is no obvious water seepage in the package.
c) There is no obvious water leakage in the outer package. There should be no water stains on the inner package. 7 Marking
The moisture-sensitive mark of the package shall be marked on the outside of the package in accordance with the provisions of GB191. 405
