This standard specifies the type, basic parameters and dimensions, technical requirements, test methods and inspection rules, as well as marking and packaging requirements of YB2 series flameproof three phase asynchronous motors. This standard is applicable to YB2 series flameproof three phase asynchronous motors (frame size 63~355) (hereinafter referred to as motors) used in underground coal mines (non-mining working faces) and factories containing explosive gas mixtures. All series of motors derived from this series of motors can also be implemented as a reference.

3.1 The motor shall be flameproof in accordance with the provisions of GB3836.2, and its explosion-proof mark shall be dI, dIIAT4, dIIBT4 (see G B3836.1). 3.2
The enclosure protection grade of the motor is IP55 (see GB/T4942.1). 3.3The cooling method of the motor is IC411 (see GB/T1993). 3.4
The structure and installation type of the motor are IMB3, IMB5, IMB6, IMB7, IMB8, IMB14, IMB34, IMB35, IMV1, IMV3, IMV5, IMV6, IMV15, IMV18 and IMV36 (see GB/T997), and they are manufactured according to the provisions of Table 1. Table 1

3.9.1 The installation dimensions and tolerances of the motor shall comply with the provisions of Tables 3 to 7; the overall dimensions shall not exceed the provisions of Tables 3 to 7. See Figures 1 to 5 for dimension symbols.
