3 Requirements
3.1 Qualification appraisal
Products submitted in accordance with this specification should be qualified products or approved products. 3.2 Design requirements
3.2.1 Reliability design
The reliability outline for the development and production of TV guidance heads should be prepared in accordance with the provisions of GJB450, and reliability design should be carried out.
3.2.2 Maintainability design
The maintainability design of TV guidance heads should be carried out in accordance with the provisions of GJB368.2. 3.2.3 Standardization design
3.2.3.1 The design of products and their parts and components must implement standardization requirements. 3.2.3.2 The selection and screening of all installed components should comply with the requirements of national standards, national military standards, professional standards and detailed specifications.
3.2.4 Structural design
3.2.4.1 The structural design of the product should be scientific, reasonable and applicable, with good process structure and meet the requirements of ergonomics.
3.2.4.2 The structural design of the product optical lens camera unit should take into account the requirements for adjusting the photoelectric axis and have sufficient rigidity to ensure the stability of the photoelectric axis. Under the condition of meeting the tactical performance requirements, the mass and size of the optical lens should be minimized.
3.2.4.3 The product design should be easy to install, debug, maintain, use and transport. The assembled parts and compartments of the product should be cleaned of excess materials according to the requirements of QJ897, and then the hatch cover should be closed. 3.3 Performance characteristics requirements

3.3.3 Field of view
The field of view of the TV seeker is generally selected between 3 and 18°, and the specific value is specified by the detailed specifications. 3.3.4 Tracking angular velocity
The maximum tracking angular velocity of the TV seeker can be selected between 10 and 20°/s, and the specific value is specified by the detailed specifications. 3.3.5 Tracking accuracy
The angular tracking accuracy of the TV seeker is specified by the detailed specifications. 3.3.6 Probability of interception
Under the condition of human participation, the probability of the TV seeker intercepting the target should be 98%. The image metrics required for the test (such as S/N or contrast) are specified by the detailed specifications. 3.3.7 Motion capture capability
Under simple background and single target conditions, the TV seeker should be able to automatically search and capture targets with contrast that meets the specifications within the specified search range and distance at a certain search speed. Specific requirements are specified by the detailed specifications.
3.3.8 Image resolution
The image resolution (horizontal center) of the TV seeker should be ≥500 TV lines. 3.3.9 Video signal processing capability
The TV seeker should be able to automatically and reliably extract target signals with a contrast ≥10% and a size of not less than 3×3 pixels. The target image unit size is specified by the detailed specifications. Target contrast refers to the difference in optical brightness characteristics between the target and the adjacent background. 3.3.11 Self-check function
The TV seeker shall have the ability to conduct qualitative or quantitative self-checks of specified items according to functional characteristics and operational procedures.
3.3.12 Tracking mode
Depending on the purpose, the detailed specification may specify that the TV seeker shall have one or more of the following automatic tracking modes: 8. a. Point tracking (including centroid and edge tracking); b. Surface tracking (including correlation and feature matching tracking); c. Multi-mode tracking.
3.3.13 Signal processing time
3.3.13.1 The signal processing time in the search state can be selected within 20 to 200 ms, and the actual time shall be specified by the detailed specification.

3.4.1 High temperature test
The TV guidance head should be able to work normally under a high temperature of 50℃. The TV guidance head is stored under 70"C high temperature conditions and should be able to work normally after returning to normal temperature. The storage time is specified in the detailed specifications.
3.4.2 Low temperature test

3.4.8.1 The type and conditions of the acceleration test to which the TV seeker is subjected shall be specified in the detailed specifications according to the requirements of Chapter 2 of GJB 150.15 based on the type of missile and carrier. 3.4.8.2 After the test, a performance and appearance inspection shall be carried out, which shall comply with the requirements of Articles 3.3.1 to 3.3.13 and 3.14 respectively.
3.4.9 Vibration test
3.4.9.1 The type and conditions of the vibration test to which the TV seeker is subjected shall be specified in the detailed specifications according to the requirements of Chapter 2 of GJB150.16 based on the type of missile and carrier. 3.4.9.2 Whether the seeker is in working condition during the test shall be determined by the detailed specifications. 3.4.9.3 After the test, a performance and appearance inspection shall be carried out, which shall comply with the requirements of Articles 3.3.1 to 3.3.13 and 3.14 respectively. 3.4.10 Impact test
3.4.10.1 The type and conditions of the impact test of the TV guidance head shall be specified in detailed specifications according to the impact environment and purpose of the carrier.

3.6 Maintainability
3.6.1 The mean time to repair (MTTR) of the TV seeker is specified by the detailed specifications. 3.6.2 The TV seeker should have self-test and fault diagnosis functions. 3.B.3 The TV seeker should adopt a modular design and have interfaces for debugging and testing. Its structure and electrical connections should be easy to detect, quickly replace and repair. 3.6.4 In principle, the maintenance and inspection of the TV seeker can be carried out with ordinary test instruments such as multimeters, oscilloscopes and general tools. 3.9 Electromagnetic compatibility

The electromagnetic emission intensity of the TV seeker power supply line shall not exceed the limit value specified in Figure CE102-1 of GJB151A.
3.9.2 Electromagnetic sensitivity
3.9.2.1 When the signal specified in Figure CS101-1 of GJB151A is injected into the power line of the TV seeker, the system should be able to work normally. The specific requirements are specified by the detailed specifications. 3.9.2.2 When the peak signal specified in Figure CS106-1 of GJB151A is injected into the power line of the TV seeker, the system should be able to work normally. 3.10 Software
3.10.1 The software design should comply with the requirements of GJB437, GJB438, and GJB439. 3.10.2 The software system structure should be clear and should be able to operate reliably under the electromagnetic environment conditions on the missile. 3.11 Dimensions
The dimensions of the TV seeker shall be specified in the detailed specifications. 3.12 Quality
The quality of the TV seeker shall be specified in the detailed specifications. 3.13 Appearance Quality
3.13.1 The surface of the TV seeker shall not have defects such as corrosion, coating shedding, bubbles, cracks, mechanical damage, loose fasteners, etc.
3.13.2 The aerodynamic shape, fairing, optical window and the connection of the transition section of the TV seeker optical cabin shall be continuous and smooth, and shall not have any unevenness. The body requirements of the cabin section of the TV seeker that needs to be sealed shall be specified in the detailed specifications.
3.13.3 The signs, symbols and signs of the TV seeker shall be clear, bright, firm and the writing shall be precise. 3.13.4 The surface of the optical components of the TV guidance head should be clean and free from dust, oil, stains, fingerprints, liquid residues and other contamination.
3.14 Color

3.15.2 The switches, indicator lights, debugging potentiometers, detection holes, etc. on the product shall have signs and codes indicating their functions.
3.15.3 Socket number marks shall be set near the sockets. 3.15.4 Both ends of the connecting cable shall have marks indicating the cable number and connection relationship. 4 Quality assurance regulations
4.1 Inspection responsibilities
Unless otherwise specified in the contract or order, the contractor shall be responsible for completing all inspections specified in this specification. If necessary, the ordering party or the superior appraisal agency has the right to inspect any inspection item described in the specification. 4.1.1 Responsibility for Conformity
All products must comply with all requirements of Chapters 3 and 5 of this specification. The inspections specified in this specification shall become an integral part of the contractor's inspection system or quality program. If the contract includes inspection requirements not specified in this specification, the contractor shall also ensure that the products submitted for acceptance meet the contract requirements. Quality consistency sampling does not allow the submission of products that are known to be defective, nor can the ordering party be required to accept defective products. 4.2 Inspection Classification
