Some standard content:
GB/T16827—1997 This standard adopts the "EAV Magazine and Academic Journal Specification" formulated by the International Article Numbering Association (EAN International). GB9999 "China Standard Serial Number" national standard mainly stipulates the coding structure of China Standard Serial Number, so that each version of each serial publication registered in China has a unique standard code. China Standard Number is composed of International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) and domestic unified serial number network. In my country, serial publications officially approved by the State Administration of Press and Publication have been coded according to this standard, and their barcode identification has also been initially applied. In order to promote the popularization and application of China Standard Serial Number barcode identification in my country, such as the rapid integration with the international community, and taking into account my country's national conditions, this standard adopts the second scheme in the EAV specification, that is, the coding method and barcode identification scheme combining EAN special front code 977 with the international standard serial number, and formulates the "China Standard Serial Number (ISSV Part) Barcode" national standard. This standard can be used to standardize the barcode identification of serial publications; at the same time, with the development of information technology, people can use barcode technology and automatic recognition technology to realize the automated management of the retail settlement, sorting, counting, borrowing and other processes of serial publications, freeing people from complicated manual operations. This standard was proposed and managed by China Article Numbering Center. The units that initiated and completed this standard are China Article Numbering Center and ISSN China National Center. The main drafters of this standard are Han Jiming, An Xiumin and Huang Zexia.
