Introduction to standards:

JB/T 5054.9-2001 This standard is a revision of JB/T 5054.8-1991 "Management Methods for Borrowing General Parts of Product Drawings and Design Documents" and is split into two standards. After the revision, some standards have changed in technical content. This standard specifies the management methods for borrowing parts drawings and design documents of mechanical industrial products, including CAD drawings and design documents, and the compilation method of general part codes. This standard applies to the management of borrowed part drawings and design documents of mechanical industrial products. This standard was first issued in 1984 as JB/Z 222-84, and was first revised to JB/T 5054.8-1991 in 1991. This is the second revision. According to the needs of enterprise management and computer technology under market economy, JB/T5054.8-1991 "Management Measures for Common and Borrowed Parts of Product Drawings and Design Documents" was revised and divided into two standards, namely "Management Measures for Common Parts of Product Drawings and Design Documents" and "Management Measures for Borrowed Parts of Product Drawings and Design Documents". This standard is a revision of the management of borrowed parts in JB/T5054.8-1991 "Management Measures for Common and Borrowed Parts of Product Drawings and Design Documents". The main changes are as follows: 1. Added Chapter 3 "Definitions" and Appendix A (Suggested Appendix) "Registration Form for Borrowed Parts Usage". 2. According to the actual situation of enterprise production management, the borrowing requirement of "indirect borrowing of borrowed parts is not allowed" was added. 3. The content of the original standard on the division of borrowed parts has been deleted. This standard partially replaces JB/5054.8-1991 from the date of implementation. This standard is proposed and managed by the National Technical Committee for Standardization of Technical Product Documents. The drafting units of this standard are: Kaifeng Air Separation Group Co., Ltd., China Machinery Industry Standardization Technical Association, Mechanical Science Research Institute, Shanghai Diesel Engine Co., Ltd.
The main drafters of this standard are: Jiang Shisheng, Meng Wanpei, Yang Dongbai, Jiang Fuqing. This standard was first issued in 1984 as JB/Z222--84, and was first revised to JB/T5054.9-91 in 1991. This is the second revision.

Product drawings and design documents
Management methods for borrowed parts
Drawing and design document of productManagementmeans of lorrow partJB/T5054.9—2001
Replaces JB/I5054.8—1991
This standard specifies the management methods for drawings and design documents of borrowed parts (hereinafter referred to as borrowed parts) of mechanical industrial products. This standard applies to the management of drawings and design documents of borrowed parts of mechanical industrial products. 2 Referenced standards
The provisions contained in the following standards constitute the provisions of this standard through reference in this standard. When this standard is published, the versions shown are valid. All standards will be revised, and parties using this standard should explore the possibility of using the latest versions of the following standards. JB/T5054.12000 General rules for product drawings and design documents JB/5054.3—2000 Format of product drawings and design documents JB/T5054.6—2000 Methods for changing product drawings and design documents 3 Definitions
This standard adopts the definitions in JB/T5054.1. 4 Basic requirements
4.1 Inheriting existing parts and components during product design and expanding the standardization coefficient of products can significantly improve design work efficiency, shorten product design, trial production, and production cycles, ensure quality, and reduce costs. Therefore, existing parts and components should be used as much as possible during product design and improvement. 4.2 In order to establish a normal technical management order, the management of borrowed parts should be strengthened. The management of borrowed parts should comply with the provisions of Chapter 6. 5 General requirements for the selection of borrowed parts
5.1 The borrowing relationship should be established to the maximum extent between the same series of products and the special parts of the same product. 5.2 Variant products should borrow parts and components of the original product as much as possible. 5.3 The borrowed parts should be product parts that have passed the prototype trial production and appraisal. 5.4 For products of the same series designed at the same time, a borrowing relationship can be established even if the drawings have not been verified by the prototype trial production. 5.5 For products of the same series that use borrowed parts, a borrowing relationship can be established even if the drawings have not been verified by the prototype trial production. 5.6 Parts of disposable products should not be borrowed. 5.7 Indirect borrowing of borrowed parts is not allowed.
6 Summary, management and registration
The numbering of borrowed parts should use the drawing code of the borrowed parts. 6.1
Approved by the State Machinery Industry Bureau on January 2, 2001, implemented on June 1, 2001
J3/F 5054.9 2001
6.2 A borrowed parts summary table should be compiled for borrowed parts of products (or parts): its format should comply with the provisions of JB/T5054.3. a) When borrowing a certain component and all its parts, only fill in the component code in the borrowed parts summary table, and fill in the words "borrowed as a whole" in the "Remarks" column;
b) When borrowing several parts of a certain component, the part codes should be filled in one by one in the borrowed parts summary table. 6.3 If the borrowed parts are widely used, they should be converted into common parts or standard parts in time to simplify management. 6.4 Borrowed parts can be registered using computer database technology, archived, queried, summarized and other management work 6.5 All borrowed parts that have been adopted should be registered for use. The registration of borrowed parts should be based on the product (or component) borrowed parts summary table. Generally, it should be registered after the prototype is identified, and it is usually the responsibility of a dedicated person. The registration can generally be carried out in the following ways: a) Register on the "Borrowed Parts Usage Registration Form", the format of which is shown in Appendix A (Suggested Appendix). b) Register in the blank space above the additional column of the borrowed part drawing (see Figure 1). c) Register on the summary table (detailed list) of the borrowed parts, and its format should comply with the provisions of JB/T5054.3. XX:

Registration of borrowed parts
Register the code of the borrowed product or component
(Additional column)
6.6 The steps for the registration of borrowed parts are as follows:
a) The registrant registers according to the product (or component) borrowed parts summary table (detailed list); b) When the borrowed parts relationship is changed, the registrant goes through the addition or cancellation procedures according to the change notice. When registering on the "Registration Form for the Use of Borrowed Parts", the change notice number and change date based on which the change is based shall be indicated: c) When the borrowed parts are converted to universal parts or standard parts, the universal part code or standard number shall be indicated on the "Registration Form for the Use of Borrowed Parts". 7 Changes
7.1 Changes to the drawings of the borrowed items should not destroy the original borrowing relationship, otherwise they can be handled in any of the following ways: a) The drawings of the borrowed items are retained without modification, and are stamped with the "Retained for Borrowing" stamp or marked with other special marks, and the base map is kept separately for the original borrower to continue borrowing. The borrower needs to redraw the drawings to be changed and assign a new drawing code; b) The drawings of the borrowed items are changed as usual, but the change notification form needs to be countersigned by the borrower. The borrower proposes a handling opinion of "maintaining" or "changing" the borrowing relationship in the notification form, and changes the registration of the borrowed items accordingly. At this time, the change notification form should comply with the provisions of JB/T5054.6, and add a column for countersignature of borrowing.
7.2 For enterprises adopting the attribution numbering system, when the product to which the borrowed part belongs is eliminated or the borrowed part is cancelled on the original product, any of the following methods may be used to handle it:
a) Keep the original drawing code and handle it according to item a) in 7.1, and list it as "retained and borrowed"; b) Copy the original base map into a new base map, assign a new drawing code to the new base map, attribute it to a borrowed product, and indicate "same as ×××". Other borrowers shall be modified according to the new drawing code. 14
