Technical Specifications for Leaders and Run-out Trailers for 35mm and 16mm Release Printsspecification1'Scope of Application
1.1 This standard applies to run-out trailers for 35mm and 16mm release prints. UDC779.5
:771.531.352
GB2926—82
1.2 This standard specifies the marking of related signals on 35mm and 16mm release prints, the meaning of the prints and the contents arranged on the prints, as well as the number of frames occupied.
2 Header
2.1 Header segment
The header segment should include the following parts:
a, guard segment,
b, header identification segment
c. Interval segment.
2.2 Segment
This guard segment should be made of raw film or film without pictures, and the length should not be less than 2.4 meters. Usually, it should be ensured that it will not be separated from the outer part of the film reel. In order to facilitate the timely distinction between the head and the film, the front end of the head should be cut into a color shape, as shown in the figure. 2.3 Header identification segment
2.3.1 The mark of the header identification segment should only have the following contents: a. filmwww.bzxz.net
b. Sequence number of the film:
Clearly indicate the beginning of this segment, and add a "" after the sequence number. d. Indicates the projection image ratio:
The language of the optical soundtrack
Add an ×-shaped mark at the beginning of the identification segment as the starting point for measuring the length of the film. f.
2.3.2 Film loading position at the beginning:
The relationship between the "loaded at the soundhead" grid and the "loaded at the film gate" grid (1 cavity grid number) is as follows: 16mm optical soundtrack is "loaded at the head" 26 grids in front of the "loaded at the film gate" grid (i.e., 218 grid number). 35m optical soundtrack is "loaded at the soundhead" 20 grids in front of the "loaded at the film gate" grid (i.e., 212 grid number). 2.3.3 Details of the grid markings between the beginning and end: The soundhead frame should be an opaque frame with a transparent line in the center. A clear water line. Above this line there should be a transparent letter "35" or "16" corresponding to the film frame, and below this line there should be a transparent letter corresponding to the tape type. Optical sound is represented by the word "力". 2.3.4 The length of the header identification segment is 46 frames. 2.4 Synchronization segment
2.4.1 Length: The total length of this synchronization segment is 192 frames, from the splice to the "film gate" frame. The total length of this synchronization segment plus the header identification segment is 238 frames.
GB 2926 --82
2.4.2 The tape section: The tape section in the synchronization section must be opaque. 2,4.8 Loading mark: The 192nd frame is printed with a boldface mark "Loading film". The 176th frame is printed with boldface "Stop at the gate". The 172nd frame is printed with a black triple for checking the loading position. 2.4.4 Time interval: Synchronous: The interval is expressed in grid meters. Starting from "Loading at the gate", every 23 grids are printed with boldface large numbers consisting of 16 8. 7, 6, 5, 4 to 3 seconds are used on the frames 144, 120, 96 to 72 to indicate the time interval between the frames. 2.4.5 All black screen and editing mark: The frame 1 to 71 is all black with frame lines. The outermost frame of this section indicates the splice. Cut from here! It will be connected to the film body, but the frame with the editing mark cannot be retained after the splice. 2.4.6 Indication of the film using the masking method: All films using the masking method have text or digital frames cut in the same section. , all should be expressed according to the aspect ratio of the film.
2.4.7 Position of standard frame: According to the needs of film production technology, the standard frame can be arranged between the time interval 4 and 5. This item can be omitted for the head of a single film. 3 Film body
3.1 Film body splicing mark, at the end and end of the film body, there is a raised frame, which has an arrow as a splicing mark. Indicate where the film should be spliced to ensure the correct splicing.
3.220 frame mark. 2 meters before the start of the film The frame is the beginning of the soundtrack. There are two transparent dots with a diameter of no more than 2mm. The position is at the lower left corner of the projection screen. The two dots are arranged up and down, occupying only one frame. In addition, there are also two white dots 20 frames after the end of the soundtrack, but the position is different. They appear at the bottom of the projection screen. 3.3 The 8th frame mark. There is a transparent concave dot with a diameter of no more than 2mm at the 8th frame outside the 20 frame marks at the beginning and end of the film body. The position of the film head is at the lower left corner of the projection screen. The film tail appears at the lower right corner of the projection screen. This mark is used to indicate whether the original film content is still retained when the film head or film is torn off or replaced. 3.4 Dual machine signal mark. When dual machines are projected, there are two signal marks of "start" and "change machine", but they should be distinguished as much as possible in shape or position. Regardless of whether ordinary, widescreen or masked films are projected, these two signal marks must appear in the upper right corner of the projection screen.
3.5 The duration of the signal mark, the start signal mark and the switch signal mark, should be four frames each. 8.6 The spacing between signal marks. From the last frame of the start signal to the first frame of the switch signal, there should be a spacing of 168 frames. This is equivalent to 7 seconds.
3.7 From the last frame of the switch signal to the 20-frame mark of the body, there should be a spacing of 24 frames. 4 Ending
4.1 Ending segment: The end of the film should include three parts: transition segment, end identification segment and extension segment. 4.2 The transition segment is a black screen with a length of no less than 72 frames. At the beginning of the transition segment, there should be an additional frame with an arrow printed on it as a cutting mark, indicating that the film is cut and connected at this point to ensure the correct connection between the body and the end. However, frames with cutting marks are not allowed in the released film.
4.3 Ending identification segment.
4.3.1 The content of the tail identification segment shall be optically printed or handwritten and indelible: the title of the film:
b. The serial number of the copy and the word "tail" after the copy. The original length of the film
Use a manual indicator core as the end point of the effective length of the measuring disc; d.
The last frame of the tail is printed with an arrow indicating the splice at the point, which serves as the cutting mark of the tail identification segment and the guard segment. e.
4.3.2 The length of the tail identification segment: The tail transition segment is from frame number 1 to 72, and the identification segment is from frame number 73 to 96. The five-star mark is on frame number 86.
GB 292682
4.4 Guard segment: This guard segment can be made of any raw film or film without pictures, and the length shall not be less than 2.4 meters. Normally, it should be ensured that it does not separate from the periphery of the film roll. In order to facilitate the distinction, the last end of the film tail guard piece should be cut into a fishtail opening, or maintain a straight full-length cut so that it can be distinguished from the film head in appearance. 5 Optical density
Optical density requirements for the header and trailer (except for the guard segment), the density of the white film (transparent) part should not be higher than 0.35. The density of the black film part should be 1,50.2.
