3.1 Star rating
The number of stars represents the grade of the cinema. 3.2 Code
The shape of the star is a five-pointed star. One star represents the star rating, two stars represent two stars, three stars represent three stars, four stars represent four stars, and five stars represent five stars.
Star rating classification and evaluation basis
The star rating of cinemas is divided into five star ratings, namely one star, two star, three star, four star and five star. The higher the star rating, the higher the cinema rating.
4.2. The star rating classification is mainly based on the cinema's equipment and facilities, audio-visual technical conditions and service quality. 4.3 Star rating adopts a scoring system. In the items with only "suitable" requirements, if the "suitable" requirements are met, points will be given; if the requirements are lower than the "suitable" requirements, 0 points will be given. In the items with only "should" requirements, if the "should" requirements are met, points will be given; if the requirements are lower than the "should" requirements, the reported star rating will not be evaluated. In the items with both "suitable" and "should" requirements, if the "suitable" requirements are met, points will be given; if the requirements are lower than the "suitable" requirements and not lower than the "should" requirements, 0 points will be given; if the requirements are lower than the "should" requirements, the reported star rating will not be evaluated.
4.4 A cinema applying for a five-star rating shall have no less than 4 conventional 35mm theaters that are not compatible with showing special films, and the total number of seats shall not be less than 550; a cinema applying for a four-star rating shall have no less than 3 conventional 35mm theaters that are not compatible with showing special films, and the total number of seats shall not be less than 450.
4.5 A cinema applying for a star rating shall have no less than 75% of its theaters meet the star rating standard applied for, and the remaining theaters are allowed to reduce one star standard to be rated the star rating applied for by the cinema. 157
