This standard specifies the terminology, technical requirements, inspection rules and inspection methods, test methods, etc. for welded metal bellows mechanical seals. 3 Terms
3.1 Single-layer corrugated plate
Two corrugated plates are welded into a group.
3.2 Double-layer corrugated plate
Four corrugated plates are welded into a group.
3.3 Welded bellows assembly
A component consisting of a group of bellows and ring seats at both ends. 3.4 Welding mushroom

Appearance quality: The welding mushroom shall not have defects such as cracks, pores, impurities, etc. 4.1.1
When the welded metal bellows assembly is compressed to the working length, the elastic force shall meet the design value, and the tolerance is 15%. The self-exit height shall meet the design value, and the tolerance is 2mm. The parallelism tolerance of the ring seats at both ends is 0.5mm.
Based on the working height and the travel of 2mm, after repeated displacement changes 100 times within 30min, its elastic force and self-exit height shall meet the requirements of 4.1.5
Combined with 4.1.2 and 4.1.3.
The heat treatment hardness of the corrugated tube wave plate is 38~48HRC; the cold rolling hardness is 16~25HRC. 4.1.6
The shape of the coal mushroom is shown in Figure 1. Its width W is calculated according to formula (1) and formula (2): W=(2.2~3)×wave plate thickness.

The flatness tolerance of the sealing end face is 0.0009mm, and the surface roughness of the sealing end face is: R.0.2um for hard materials; R.0.42 for soft materials. The surface roughness of the compensation ring assembly and the contact part between the non-compensation ring and the auxiliary seal is R.3.2um. 4.2.2
The flatness of the contact part between the non-compensation end face and the auxiliary seal shall comply with the 7-level accuracy requirements of GB1184. 4.2.4 The inner hole size tolerance of the transmission seat is D8. Inspection rules and methods
Inspection rules: Each set of products shall be inspected and qualified by the inspection department of the manufacturer, and shall be accompanied by a certificate of conformity before leaving the factory. 5.2

Appearance quality inspection of welding mushrooms: Visual inspection with a 5x magnifying glass. If there is any objection, submit it to the metallographic laboratory for 100 times microscope measurement. 5.2.2

Elastic force measurement: Measure with a 2% precision elastic tension and compression tester. The free height of the welded metal bellows assembly is measured with a vernier caliper. The parallelism of the ring seats at both ends is measured with a micrometer. The width of the weld mushroom (W) is measured with a micrometer caliper. Wave plate hardness measurement: The hardness of two wave plates of the same batch of samples in the furnace during heat treatment is measured. Air pressure leak detection: The air pressure is 0.3~0.6MPa, the test time is 3min, and it is immersed in water. There must be no visible bubbles. Test method
The bellows mechanical seal test method is carried out in accordance with the provisions of JB4236, and its performance indicators should comply with the provisions of Articles 4.3.1 and 4.3.2. If there are special requirements, it shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the agreement. 6.2
7 Installation and use requirements
7.1 The shaft or sleeve on which the mechanical seal is installed.

The surface runout tolerance of the positioning end face of the seal cavity and the seal end cover on the shaft or sleeve shall comply with the provisions of Table 2. The requirements for the seal end cover or housing shall comply with the provisions of Figure 3 and Table 3. 10°

During installation, the shaft or sleeve, sealing cavity or sealing end cover and mechanical seal products must be cleaned to prevent debris from entering the sealing part. When the temperature of the conveying medium is too high or too low or contains impurities and particles, is flammable, explosive, or toxic, appropriate blocking, flushing, cooling, filtering and other measures must be adopted. Specific measures shall be carried out in accordance with the "Circulation System and Application Specifications of Mechanical Seals". 7.7
When installing mechanical seals, the installation dimensions of the mechanical seals shall be ensured according to the product manual or sample. Marking and packaging
The identification mark shall be marked on the packaging box in accordance with the provisions of GB6556. The product shall have the manufacturer's mark.
The packaging shall prevent damage to the product and loss of parts during transportation and storage. Each set of mechanical seals shall be accompanied by a certificate of conformity when leaving the factory. The certificate of conformity shall have the product model, quantity, manufacturer name, inspection department and inspection personnel's signature and date.
