Altitude, ambient temperature and power supply conditions under normal use conditions shall comply with the provisions of a, b, d and e in Article 2.1 of GB1094.1. 6.1
Note: If the product is used under special conditions, the user shall negotiate with the manufacturer. 6.2
Electric refined transformers are suitable for Zone II locations where explosive gas environments are not expected to occur during normal operation, and even if they occur, they should occur as infrequently and for a short time as possible.
6.3Electric refined transformers should operate continuously for a long time under short-circuit conditions. 6.4 The reactor, transformer and rectifier in the electric refining transformer should be placed in the same box. 6.5 The main body of the electric refining transformer is an oil-filled structure, and an oil storage cabinet may not be provided. However, there should be enough space between the oil level and the oil tank cover so that the oil will not overflow at the highest oil temperature.
6.6 The input side terminals and the DC high-voltage part measurement terminals should be led to the increased safety type junction box with bushings. The wiring terminals should be connected to the external wires in the junction box. The high-voltage junction box is oil-filled. 6.7 Both the oil tank and the high-voltage junction box should have oil level gauges. When the oil level gauge is damaged and causes oil outflow or leakage, the conductive parts should be immersed in the oil to a depth of not less than 25mm. The oil level on the oil tank should be marked with three oil level indicator lines equivalent to oil temperatures of +40℃C, +20℃-30℃ when the electric refining transformer is not put into operation, and there should be an oil drain valve. 6.8 A corrosion-resistant, firm and reliable grounding device should be welded on the lower part of the high-voltage DC junction box on the oil tank. 6.9 The silicon rectifier adopts single-phase bridge connection. 6.16 The silicon rectifier is connected to the transformer in the oil tank and can be taken out and put in separately from the oil tank. 6.11
The main components of the electric refined transformer are:
bimetallic thermometer;
dehumidifier;
pressure release valve.
Fasteners, nameplates and explosion-proof signs exposed to the air should have slight corrosion resistance. The oil tank should withstand the strength test of 50kPa water pressure, and the test time is 1min. There should be no damage and permanent deformation. 6.14
The protection level of the low-voltage pull box meets the IP54 requirements. The electric refined transformer should be able to withstand the 50kpa air pressure sealing test, which should last for 24 hours without leakage and ring damage, and the residual pressure should be no less than 30kpa. 6.15

Inspection rules, inspection items and methods
Inspection rules
The inspection of electric refined transformers is divided into factory test and type test. When the product leaves the factory, it shall be tested for each unit and accompanied by a factory certificate. In any of the following cases, the product shall be subject to type test: new trial-produced products; after formal production, if there are major changes in structure, process, and materials that may affect product performance; the product shall be subject to regular type test every five years. 7.2 Inspection items and inspection methods The inspection items, explosion-proof performance inspection and methods of electric precision transformers are shown in Table 5.
