Low-temperature bending test of rubber coated fabric
(Supplement)
The method for determining the fracture or cracking of the coating layer when the rubber coated fabric is bent 180° under specified low temperature conditions is applicable to the determination of the low-temperature performance of coated fabrics or products with a thickness of 0.1 to 2.20 mm.A2 Test principle
After the sample is placed in the specified environment, it is exposed in the low-temperature box for a certain period of time, and then a 180° bending test is performed to check the damage of the sample.
A3 Test instrument
A3.1 Low-temperature box: The low-temperature box should have a large enough working space, which should be large enough to accommodate the sample glass plate and gloves used for the test, and ensure that the bending test can be easily carried out in the low-temperature box. The temperature in the low temperature box should be controlled within ±1℃. A3.2 Glass plate: used to place all samples, with a size of about 125mm×175mm×5mm, and 2 pieces in total. A3.3 Gloves: 3 pairs, 1 pair is placed in the same temperature environment as the sample, and is used to take the sample in the low temperature box. The other 2 pairs are used at room temperature and are worn inside the cold gloves to protect the operator. A4 Samples
Three samples must be cut within 150mm from the edge of the coated fabric, and the size of the sample is 25mm×100mm. The length of the sample should be parallel to the warp of the coated fabric.
A5 Time interval from the manufacture of the coated fabric to the test A5.1 For all tests, the time interval from the date of production of the coated fabric to the test should not be less than 16h. A5.2 Before the test, the sample should be placed in a standard environment with a temperature of 20±2℃ and a relative humidity of (65±5)% or a temperature of 23±2℃ and a relative humidity of (50±5)%. The single-sided coated fabric should be kept for no less than 16 hours, and the double-sided coated fabric should be kept for no less than 24 hours. A6 Test Procedure
A6.1 Place the three samples placed in the standard environment between the glass plates. There should be enough space between the samples to allow air to pass during the placement process. Place the glass plate with the sample in an appropriate position in the low temperature box, and also place the gloves in the low temperature box, and keep them at the test temperature for 4 hours.
A6. After 24 hours, take out the samples one at a time from between the two glass plates in the low temperature box, then fold the samples 180°, and then use a 5x magnifying glass to check whether the coated surface of the samples has any breaks or cracks. For double-sided coated fabrics, check the coating layers on both sides: A7 Test results
If the coated surfaces of the three samples are free of breaks or cracks, they are qualified. If the coated surfaces of the three samples are all broken or cracked, test three more samples. If one of the additional samples is broken or cracked, it is a defective product. Standard technology exchange network m.bzsoo/comB1 Reagents and Coating Polymers

Cut 3 specimens from the sample. If the material to be tested is double-sided rubber-coated fabric, cut 6 specimens. Each sample is 100mm×100mm in size. Samples are cut evenly over the width of the sample, but samples shall not be taken within 200mm from the edge: B3 Test Procedure
When the laminated coated fabric is tested, sufficient surface fiber fabric shall be removed for testing. 1.0mL of the relevant reagent specified in B1 shall be dripped into the center of the sample, and the coated surface of the reagent shall be covered with a surface dish with a diameter of 50mm. After 120s, make sure that the fingers are dry and clean, remove the surface, and touch the coated polymer surface with the hand to check for signs of adhesiveness. B4° Result Expression
Record the signs of adhesiveness on the surface of the coated polymer. Additional Notes:
