Pot status
1 Seedling status should be measured when the seedlings are in natural growth state, and the number of measurements should not be less than 100, and the average value should be taken. 2 For seedlings with pots, the seedling height is the height above the pot surface. 6.1.2 Test site conditions
Except for special requirements, the test site should be ploughed and leveled, with a flat surface and no obstacles such as lumps and stones, straw and weeds. The soil moisture content is not more than 20%, which meets the requirements of the planted seedlings. 6.1.3 Before the prototype test, it should be installed and debugged according to the requirements of the instruction manual, and the test can be carried out only when it is in normal state. The results of the test prototype technical parameters are recorded in Table 3.

6.1.4 The planting depth, seedling injury, seedling burial and seedling exposure (pot) of seedlings in the test should be determined according to local agronomic requirements and shall not be changed at will during the test.
6.1.5 The main equipment, instruments, meters and appliances used in the test are shown in Appendix A (Suggested Appendix). The instruments and meters should be calibrated and qualified before use.
6.2 Performance test
6.2.1 Test purpose: To assess whether the performance of the prototype meets the design requirements. 6.2.2 Test requirements: The number of plants measured continuously in each row shall not be less than 120 plants each time, and the determination of planting frequency, planting quality and planting accuracy must be carried out simultaneously. Repeat the test three times and take the average value. 6.2.3 Test content and methods
6.2.3.1 Planting frequency
The planting frequency is determined by calculating the total number of seedlings planted into the ground by the planter in a planting row per unit time (including the number of seedlings buried in the soil). The planting time is measured in seconds, and the planting frequency is calculated according to formula (1). The number of seedlings planted continuously each time shall not be less than 120 plants. Repeat the test three times and record the results in Table 4.2×60
Where: F planting frequency, plant/(min·row); Z number of planted plants, plant:
t—planting time, s.

6.2.3.2 Planting quality
While measuring the planting frequency, the number of plants that were missed, replanted, fell over, buried, injured, and exposed, as well as the length of the measuring section, were measured respectively. The number of missed plants and replanted plants were determined according to the size of the designed plant spacing X. When: the plant spacing X between two adjacent plants is within the range of 0≤X≤0.5X, replant one plant; when the plant spacing X between two adjacent plants is within the range of 0≤X≤0.5X, replant one plant.
