Note: The materials in Table 4 can be replaced by equivalent materials. 3.2 The shackle body should be forged as a whole, the cross pin should be forged or machined from round steel, and the cross pin hole on the shackle body should be drilled on the solid, or can be hot-punched to about 2/3 of the hole diameter, and then drilled or bored to the specified hole diameter. 3.3 The surface of the shackle parts shall not have spots, cracks or interlayers. 3.4
After heat treatment, the shackle body and cross pin have a hardness stress of HB240~260. The allowable deviation of the shackle body size is in accordance with Table 5, and the allowable deviation of the cross pin diameter is in accordance with Table 6. Table 5

The materials used to make the shackle body and cross pin must have a material certificate. The forging test grade is CB773-70. The II-level shackle should be inspected and accepted by the manufacturing and technical inspection department, and a certificate of conformity should be issued. 4.2
4.3 Each shackle should be tested for verification according to the test load listed in Table 7. The test duration should be no less than 5 minutes. After the test, the cross pin of the shackle should be able to be pulled out and inserted freely, and the parts should not have permanent deformation. 5

5.1After each shackle passes the test, the model, standard number and manufacturer's name or factory mark shall be marked at the specified mark (see Figure 3).
