This standard specifies the column type Types and basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and markings, packaging and storage of fan coil units.
This standard is applicable to column-type fan panels for external cooling and hot water flowing through the coil separately or simultaneously. The air is guided across the coil by the fan to be cooled or heated, with the purpose of creating a comfortable indoor environment. The air volume of the fan coil unit (hereinafter referred to as "fan coil unit") is below 1700m/h. This standard does not apply to electric cooling fans, direct evaporative coils, steam coils and coils of electric heating devices. 2 Reference standards
