When this standard was published, the versions shown were valid. All standards are subject to revision. Parties using this standard should explore the possibility of using the latest versions of the following standards: GB3482-83 Lightning test method for electronic equipment GB3483-83 Lightning test guide for electronic equipment GB/T11318.1-1996 Cable distribution system equipment and components for television and sound signals Part 1: General specification Cable distribution system equipment and components for television and sound signals Part 9: General specification for power supply equipment GB/T 11318. 9-1996 3 Definitions This standard adopts the following definitions, and other definitions should comply with the relevant provisions in GB/T11318.1. 3.1 Surge A unidirectional voltage or current wave that has no obvious oscillations and rises rapidly to a peak value and then drops slowly to zero. The parameters that specify the surge voltage and surge current are polarity, wave front time, and wave tail drop to half the peak value time. 3.2 Full-wave unipolar impulse voltage full monopole surge voltage refers to the non-periodic transient voltage wave that has not been truncated, as shown in Figure 1. It is generally calculated as T,/T, us, T, is the apparent presurge time, and T, is the apparent half-peak time. Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on September 9, 1996 and implemented on May 1, 1997 GB/T 11318.14—1996 Figure 1 Full-wave unipolar impulse voltage 3.2.1 Apparent presurge time T, T, us refers to the time interval when the voltage is 0.3 and 0.9 of the peak value (points A and B in Figure 1) multiplied by 1.67. If oscillation occurs in the wave front, A and B should be selected on the average line drawn by these oscillations. 3.2.2 Apparent origin O1 apparent reference point O1 refers to the time scale leading point A by 0.3T. For the slow scan oscillogram, draw a straight line through points A and B on the wavefront and intersect the horizontal axis, and the intersection is the apparent origin 01. 3.2.3 Apparent half-surge time T, apparent half-surge time Tz refers to the time interval from the apparent origin to the time when the voltage drops to the peak value 0.5. 4 Product classification Lightning arresters are divided into two types: indoor and outdoor. According to different uses, they can be divided into general lightning arresters, antenna lightning arresters and current-through lightning arresters. 5 Requirements 5.1 General requirements The general requirements of lightning arresters shall comply with the provisions of 4.1.1 in GB/T11318.1-1996. 5.2 Performance parameters The performance parameter requirements of lightning arresters are shown in Table 1.
