3 signal light classification

3.1 The signal light classification is divided into 300mm, g260mm, 200mm based on the color chip diameter and overall size. 250mm×250mm. 3.1.1 The signal light housing materials are divided into two types: metallic materials and non-metallic materials. 3.1.2 Metal material The signal light casing is made of iron or aluminum. 3.1.3 Non-metallic materials include polycarbonate engineering plastics, fiberglass and other engineering plastics. 3.2 Signal light sources can be incandescent lamps, low-voltage tungsten halogen lamps and other light sources that comply with relevant standards. 3.3 Signal light model compilation method

4 technical requirements
GB14887-94
4.1 The production of signal lights should comply with various technical requirements specified in this standard. 4.2 The signal light should be guaranteed to work reliably under the following conditions: a. The ambient temperature is not lower than -40℃ and not higher than +1050℃. b. The relative humidity of the air is not greater than 95% (when the temperature is 25°C). c. Places with sand, dust, rain, dew and salty air. d. The maximum wind resistance is 145km/h.
4.3 The color coordinates of the signal light color chip should be consistent with those shown in Appendix C (reference part). 4.4 The intensity of the red signal light should not be less than 200cd (if the light source is a low-voltage tungsten halogen lamp 35W or an incandescent lamp 60W, the light intensity should not be less than 120cd). 4.5 The signal light display distance should comply with the following regulations: a. The signal display distance of 300mm color chip is not less than 150m; b. The signal display distance of 260mm color chip is not less than 100m; c. The signal display distance of 200mm color chip is not less than 75m. 4.6 The surfaces of the signal light housing, front cover, rim, color chip and sealing ring should be smooth, without scratches, missing materials, cracks, silver wires, obvious deformation, burrs and other defects.
4.7 When the signal lamp uses a low-voltage light source, the secondary no-load output voltage of the power transformer should be 11.5~12V, and the insulation resistance should be greater than 10Mα. 4.8 The electrical safety performance of signal lights should comply with the regulations of GB7000. 4.9 The electroplated parts and chemical coating of signal lights should comply with the regulations of GB7003. Use conditional classes. 4.10 The protection level of the signal light housing should comply with the regulations of GB7001. The protection level is IP43. 4.11 The signal lamp should withstand the vibration that may occur under normal use conditions without damage to parts, loosening of bulbs and fasteners, etc. 4.12 Pattern indicator signal light (see Appendix A for pattern size). 4.12.1 The crosswalk signal pattern shall be as specified in Figure 1. ★

4.12.4 in use When the pattern signal indicates, the color chip pattern should be obviously light-transmissive, and there should be no light-transmitting spots in the remaining parts. 4.12.5 When using pattern signals, the light intensity of the red signal light should comply with the provisions in 4.4. 4.13 Signal light shielding edge
4.13.1 The length of the motorway signal light shielding edge shall not be less than 460mm, and the shielding edge wrap angle shall not be less than 250°±10° (see Appendix B). 4.13.2 The length of the non-motorized lane signal light shielding edge shall not be less than 350mm, and the shielding edge wrap angle shall not be less than 200°±10°. 4.14 Signal light source
4.14.1 The luminous efficiency of 220V100W incandescent lamp should not be less than 9Lm/W, and the lifespan should not be less than 1000h; 4.14.2 The luminous efficiency of 12V50W halogen lamp should not be less than 15Lm/W, and the lifespan should not be less than 2000h. 5 Test methods
5.1
Visual inspection can be used to inspect the appearance of the signal light. 5.2 The high temperature test is carried out in accordance with GB2423.2 and meets the following requirements: a.

5.3 The low-temperature test is conducted in accordance with GB2423.1 and complies with the following regulations: GB14887—94

Within the last 15 minutes of the conditional test period, check whether it meets the requirements of Article 4.2.1 of this standard: d.

Wind pressure test of 5.5 signal lights. The lamp must be based on the maximum projection surface that can be seen at the elevation angle of the horizontal plane. Sandbags are used as a constant and uniform load. They are added to the lamp for 10 minutes (the installation height when the lamp is used is 8m). The pressure exerted by the sandbag on the projection surface of the lamp is is 1.5kN/m2, the lamp shall not be damaged or displaced from the fixed point during the test, and the permanent deformation after this test process shall not exceed 1°. 5.6 The color test of color chips shall be carried out according to the GB8417 method. 5.7 The optical performance of the signal light shall be carried out according to the test methods of GB9467 and GB9468, and shall comply with the provisions of Articles 4.4 and 4.5 of this standard. 5.8 The display distance of signal lights can be visually inspected and should comply with the provisions of Article 4.5 of this standard. 5.9 The overall dimensions, materials and energization test of the signal lamp can be inspected using ordinary measuring tools and electrical instruments. 5.10 The connection reliability and power transformer shall be inspected according to the requirements and test methods of GB7000 4.15, 5 and 11 using tools, measuring instruments or visual inspection.
5.11 The insulation resistance and dielectric strength tests are carried out according to the methods in GB7000 Sections 9.1 and 9.2. 5.12 For other standards cited in this standard, the test methods shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of the cited standards. 5.13 The vibration test is conducted in accordance with GB2423.10 and meets the following regulations: a. Initial inspection, visual inspection and mechanical and electrical performance testing of the signal lights; b. Severity, frequency 1 ~ 10Hz, amplitude 0.75mm and frequency 10 ~ 35Hz, acceleration Vibrate at 0.2g for 2h and check whether the lamp meets the requirements of Article 4.11 of the standard; C. Restore according to Article 5 of GB2423.1.Chapter 4;
d. The final detection is the same as the initial detection.
5.14 The plastic parts (exposure) of signal lights are subjected to aging tests, and their physical and mechanical changes should be measured according to GB1042, GB1040, and GB1043. Their service strength, breaking strength, breaking elongation, bending strength, and impact strength should be measured. 5.15 The grounding of lamps shall be in accordance with Article 6 of GB7000, and the test method shall be in accordance with Article 6.4, and shall comply with the provisions of 4.8 of this standard.
