This standard is proposed by the Industry Management Department of the State Bureau of Light Industry. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Ink Standardization Technical Committee. This standard was drafted by Shanghai Ink Factory, Tianjin Ink Factory, and Hangzhou Ink Factory. The main drafters of this standard are Jin Zhiwu and Fang Anguo. From the date of implementation, this standard will replace the light industry professional standard ZB/TA17004-1987 "Offset Glossy Ink" issued by the former Ministry of Light Industry.

1 Varieties and specifications

3 Test method
QB/T3598—1999
3.1 Color shall be in accordance with the provisions of the original QB557--1983 "Ink Color Test Method". 3.2 The coloring strength shall be in accordance with the original QB558-1983 "Test Method for Coloring Strength of Ink". 3.3 The fineness shall be in accordance with the original QB559-1983 "Test Method for Fineness of Ink". 3.4 The fluidity shall be in accordance with the original QB560-1983 "Test Method for Fluidity of Ink". 3.5 The viscosity shall be in accordance with the original QB564-1983 "Test Method for Viscosity of Ink". 3.6 The gloss shall be in accordance with the original QB573-1983 "Test Method for Gloss of Ink". 3.7 The fixing speed shall be in accordance with the original QB570-1983 "Test Method for Fixing Speed ​​of Ink". 4 Inspection Rules
4.1 The inspection department of the manufacturer shall be responsible for the inspection before the product leaves the factory, and it shall not leave the factory until it meets the technical indicators. Each batch of products shall be accompanied by the model, product name, batch number, net weight and production date. 4.2 During the acceptance process, the receiving unit shall conduct all or part of the inspections according to the technical indicators listed in this standard, and the inspection personnel shall conduct sampling at a ratio of 5% to 10% according to the batch size, and the sampling volume of each can (box) and barrel shall not be less than 20g. 4.3 When sampling, the dust and debris on the ink can (box) and barrel cover shall be carefully removed to prevent foreign debris from falling into the ink sample. 4.4 If it is found that the technical indicators are not met during the acceptance, the sample shall be re-sampled and re-tested. If the re-test results still do not meet the standard requirements, the manufacturer and the acceptance unit shall jointly negotiate to solve the problem. 5 Marking, packaging, transportation, storage
5.1 Offset glossy ink is packed in iron cans (boxes) or iron barrels. The iron cans (boxes) should be packed in outer packaging boxes. 5.2 The iron cans (boxes) or iron barrels should be labeled with the manufacturer name, model, product name, net weight, production batch number and packaging date. 5.3 The outer packaging surface should have the manufacturer's name, model, product name, quantity, weight and a mark that it should not be inverted. 5.4 The product should not be stored in the open air. The warehouse must be dry and ventilated. Prevent moisture and stay away from fire. 5.5 During transportation and handling, it is not allowed to be thrown, dropped or bumped to prevent the packaging from being damaged and ink from spilling. 5.6 This product can be transported by various means of transportation such as cars, ships, and airplanes. 5.7 Under the conditions of 5.4, the effective storage period of this product is two years from the date of production. 5.8 During the effective storage period, individual quality indicators of this product are allowed to change, but the manufacturer must ensure its use. 752
