National Standard of the People's Republic of China Safety requirements for resistance welding machine Safety requirements for resistance welding machine1 Subject content and scope of application This standard specifies the general safety requirements, test methods and inspection rules for resistance welding machines. GB15578--1995 This standard applies to various types of single-phase power frequency AC resistance welding machines (hereinafter referred to as welding machines) and resistance welding machine controllers (hereinafter referred to as controllers) used under general conditions. Certain special requirements for welding machines or controllers and other types of resistance welding machines can be negotiated between users and manufacturers on the basis of this standard and specified in enterprise standards or special technical conditions. The controller and welding machine can be integrated or split, but no matter which structural form is adopted, it should be assessed in accordance with this standard. 2 Reference standards GB2900.22 Electrical terminology Electric welding machine GB4208 Classification of enclosure protection levels GB8366 General technical conditions for resistance welding machines ZBJ64005 General technical conditions for resistance welding machine controllers JB/T5256 Inspection and sampling methods for electric welding machines 3 Terms and symbols The terms and symbols used in this standard are in accordance with the provisions of GB2900.22, GB8366 and ZBJ64005. 4 Conditions of use 4.1 Normal conditions of use The welding machine and controller should work normally under the following conditions of use. 4.1.1 Environmental conditions 4.1.1.1 The altitude shall not exceed 1000m. 4.1.1.2 The ambient air temperature shall not exceed the following limits: a. Maximum temperature Minimum temperature For water-cooled welding machines and controllers For air-cooled welding machines and controllers Daily average temperaturebzxz.net d. Annual average temperature 4.1.1.3 Relative humidity of air —5℃ The average maximum relative humidity of the wettest month is 90%, and the average minimum temperature of the month is not greater than 25℃. Approved by the State Administration of Technical Supervision on June 2, 1995 and implemented on August 1, 1996 GB15578—1995 4.1.1.4 The dust, acid, corrosive gas or substance in the ambient air shall not exceed the normal content. 4.1.2 For water-cooled welding machines and controllers, the cooling water should meet the following requirements: a. Cooling water inlet temperature Cooling water inlet pressure cWater quality meets industrial water standards 4.1.3Power supply network requirements 5~30℃ ≥0.15 MPa The power supply voltage should be single-phase 220V or 380V, and its frequency is 50Hz. The quality of the power supply network should meet the following requirements: The voltage waveform should be a real sine wave; The fluctuation of the grid voltage should not exceed ±10% of the rated value; b. The fluctuation of the grid voltage frequency should not exceed ±1% of the rated value. 4.2 Special use conditions When the use conditions do not meet the requirements of Article 4.1, the user should raise them when placing an order and negotiate with the manufacturer to resolve them. 5 Safety requirements 5.1 Insulation resistance 5.1.1 The insulation resistance between the power input circuit and the casing of the welding machine or controller and between the input and output circuits of the transformer shall not be less than 2.5 MQ. 5.1.2 For the circuit in the controller that is not connected to the casing and has a voltage higher than AC 42V or DC 48V, the insulation resistance to the casing shall not be less than 1MQ2; for the circuit with a voltage lower than or equal to AC 42V or DC 48V, the insulation resistance to the casing shall not be less than 0.5MQ. 5.2 Dielectric strength 5.2.1 Each live circuit in the welding machine or controller that is not connected to the casing shall be able to withstand the 50Hz sinusoidal AC test voltage specified in Table 1 according to its working voltage for 1 minute, and there shall be no flashover or breakdown.
