Some standard content:

GB/T 15710-1995
Silicon-barium alloy is a ferroalloy with high activity. When added to steelmaking, it can reduce the occurrence of smoke and flames, change the properties and distribution of non-metallic inclusions in steel, improve the cutting performance of general metals, and show good anti-degradation and reduced cross-section sensitivity in casting production. It is a long-term and efficient inoculant in cast iron production. The use of silicon-barium alloy is better and more economical than the use of pure aluminum, silicon-titanium, silicon-calcium and other single alloys. Silicon alloy is also very beneficial in the production of ferroalloys. Silicon-barium alloy has a wide range of uses. The formulation of this standard is to seek unity, regulate the market, promote technological progress, and meet the needs of production and use. This standard is proposed by the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry of the People's Republic of China. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the Information Standards Research Institute of the Ministry of Metallurgical Industry. This standard is drafted by Emei Ferroalloy (Group) Co., Ltd. The drafting responsible persons of this standard are Yuan Guode, Yao Pengquan, Liu Qinghai, Xu Yongqing, and this standard is about to be issued.
