Notice on the Release of the National Standard "Specifications for Construction and Acceptance of Subway Engineering"

In accordance with the requirements of the State Planning Commission's "1987 Engineering Construction Standard Formulation and Revision Plan" (Appendix 8 to Document No. Jizong [198672630]), the "Specifications for Construction and Acceptance of Subway Engineering" jointly formulated by the Beijing Municipal Commission of Urban and Rural Construction and relevant departments has been reviewed and approved as a mandatory national standard by the relevant departments, with the number GB50299—1999, and will be implemented on October 1, 1999.
This specification is managed by Beijing Municipal Commission of Urban and Rural Construction, Beijing Urban Construction Group Co., Ltd. is responsible for the specific interpretation work, and the Standard and Quota Research Institute of the Ministry of Construction organizes China Planning Press to publish and distribute it.

Engineering Construction Standard Full Text Information System
This specification is compiled by the Beijing Urban Construction Group Co., Ltd. and relevant units in accordance with the requirements of the State Planning Commission's Document No. 2630 [1986]. During the compilation process, in accordance with the relevant principles and policies of national capital construction, on the basis of summarizing the practical experience of my country's subway engineering construction, fully considering my country's existing construction technology level and future development direction, after investigation and testing, appropriately absorbing and drawing on some foreign standards, striving to achieve advanced technology, economic rationality, safety and applicability, and ensure quality. At each stage of the preparation, we have solicited opinions from relevant units across the country through forums and letter reviews, and held professional meetings. After repeated revisions and supplements, our committee and relevant departments have reviewed and finalized the draft. According to the construction technology, methods and professions of subway projects, a total of 19 chapters and 3 appendices have been compiled, including: Chapter 1 is the general provisions, Chapters 2 to 13 are civil engineering projects, and Chapters 14 to 19 are mechanical and electrical equipment installation projects. This specification is a newly formulated national standard, covering a wide range of fields and many professions. In order to improve the quality of the specification, please pay attention to accumulating information and summarizing experience during the implementation process. If any modifications and supplements are found, please promptly notify the "Subway Project Construction and Acceptance Specification" Management Group of Beijing Urban Construction Group Co., Ltd.
