National Standard of the People's Republic of China Classification of pin hole by radiographic examinationfor aluminium alloy casts 1 Subject and scope of application GB 11346—89 This standard specifies the film requirements, pinhole classification and assessment rules for the X-ray film inspection and assessment of pinholes (round) in aluminium alloy castings. This standard applies to aluminium alloy castings with a transillumination thickness of not more than 50 mm. This standard does not apply to aluminium alloy die castings. 2 Reference standards GB5618 Linear image quality meter ZBJ04004 Radiographic flaw detection method 3 Personnel qualifications Personnel engaged in radiographic film assessment must hold a qualification certificate of level 2 or above issued by the relevant national competent authorities and suitable for their work. 4 Requirements for negative film 4.1 The preparation of negative film shall be carried out in accordance with the provisions of ZBJ04004. 4.2 The image quality meter used for negative film photography shall comply with the provisions of GB5618, and the minimum aluminum wire diameter required to be displayed is shown in the following table. mm Transillumination thickness Required to be displayed Minimum aluminum wire diameter >0~2 5 Pinhole (shape) classification >2~4 5.1 Divided into two groups A and B according to the thickness of the transillumination >4~6 >6~8 Group A classification is applicable to castings with a transillumination thickness of less than 13mm. Group B classification is applicable to castings with a transillumination thickness of 13~50 mm. Note: The thickness of the standard sample of Group A is 6mm, and the thickness of the standard sample of Group B is 20mm. 5.2Group A is divided into 8 grades, see classification diagram 1. Group B is divided into 8 levels, see classification diagram 2. bzxz.net Note: See the separate book for Figure 1 and Figure 2.
