Appendix C (Informative Appendix) Technical performance of fire-resistant mica tape for wires and cables GB/T196662005 GB/T196662005 Flame-retardant and fire-resistant wires and cables, including halogen, halogen-free, low-smoke and other products, have been produced and used in China for more than ten years and are of great significance to fire safety. However, due to the lack of international standards and national standards, there is confusion in product names, models, technical requirements and test methods, and some are inconsistent with international requirements. This standard is formulated to unify domestic production and use and to meet the needs of international trade and economic and technological exchanges. Considering that flame retardancy and fire resistance requirements can cover almost all wire and cable products, and to achieve this goal, it is generally not necessary to change the structure of the wire and cable, but to change the materials used. Therefore, instead of adopting the method of formulating product standards one by one, this general rule is formulated to stipulate the requirements for flame retardancy and fire resistance and other combustion characteristics that are different from the current general product standards, recommend flame retardant and fire resistant materials that can be used, and add corresponding marks in front of the general product model to distinguish them from ordinary products. In this standard, the test methods and performance requirements for halogen-free, low smoke, flame retardancy and fire resistance characteristics are all based on the following latest international standards: IEC60331: 1999 Line integrity test of cables or optical cables under flame conditions IEC60332: 2000 Combustion test of cables or optical cables under flame conditions IEC60754: 1997 Test method for gas released when materials taken from cables or optical cables burn IEC61034: 1997 Determination of smoke density of cables or optical cables burning under specific conditions This general rule can be used directly as a product standard. If it is necessary to compile a separate product standard, the relevant content must comply with the provisions of this general rule. Appendix A, Appendix B and Appendix C of this standard are informative appendices. This standard is the first national standard. This standard is proposed by the China Electrical Equipment Industry Association. This standard is under the jurisdiction of the National Wire and Cable Standardization Committee. After the fire source is removed, the spread of the flame on the sample is only within a limited range and self-extinguishing: that is, it has the ability to prevent or delay the occurrence or spread of flames. 3.2 Fire resistance The ability to continue to operate under specified conditions when burning under specified fire sources and time. , that is, the ability to maintain the integrity of the line. 3.3 Halogenfree Halogen-free, the combustion products are less corrosive. 3.4 Low smoke Less smoke is produced during combustion, that is, the light transmittance (visibility) is higher. 4 Model 4.1 Model composition GB/T196662005 The model of flame-retardant and fire-resistant wires and cables consists of two parts: the product combustion characteristic code and the relevant wire and cable model, as shown in Figure 1. Relevant wire and cable model Product combustion characteristic code Model composition of flame-retardant and fire-resistant wires and cables Figure 1 4.2 Combustion characteristic code and sequence 4.2.1 Combustion characteristic code See Table 1. Table 1 Combustion characteristic codebzxz.net aZ is a single flame retardant, which is only used for products with halogen-free substrates. If the substrate contains halogen, Z is omitted. bZD is bundle combustion type D, suitable for thinner products with an outer diameter of no more than 12mm.
