Relationship between materials and other disciplines HG/T 20703.2-2000 Subject content and scope of application This standard specifies the relationship between materials and other disciplines during the engineering design stage and construction process, and is applicable to design management and engineering management of general contracting projects. Relationship with the design manager The design manager shall provide the following documents to this discipline: design commencement report; Engineering design schedule; Quality plan; Engineering design regulations; Approved preliminary design documents and their approval documents. This discipline shall provide the following documents to the design manager: engineering material selection regulations and pipeline material identification drawings (if any); engineering standards and regulations related to materials; technical risk memorandum. Relationship with the project manager In general contracting projects, when it comes to procurement, inspection and on-site construction, it is also under the leadership of the project manager and reports to the project manager. 230 4 Relationship with Chemical Process Major Chemical Process Major needs to provide the following documents to this major: process flow chart and process description; 2 Process equipment table; 3 Data sheets of various equipment. 4.0.2 This major needs to provide the following documents to Chemical Process Major: Engineering material selection regulations and pipeline material identification diagram (if any). 5 Relationship with Process System Major 5.0.1 Process System Major needs to provide the following documents to this major: Pipeline Instrument Flow Diagram (PID) and naming table. 5.0.2 This major needs to provide the following documents to Process System Major: Engineering material selection regulations and pipeline material identification diagram (if any). 6 Relationship with Pipeline Materials Major Pipeline Materials Major shall provide the following documents to this major: Pipeline design regulations, pipeline classification index and pipeline material classification table: Structural and manufacturing requirements for pipelines, pipe fittings and valves, etc.: Pipeline material procurement (inquiry) documents; Quotations and relevant technical documents from pipeline material manufacturers. This major shall provide the following documents to the Pipeline Materials Major: Engineering material selection regulations and pipeline material identification diagrams (if any); Engineering standards and regulations for materials; Propose review opinions on documents prepared by the Pipeline Materials Major and documents from pipeline material manufacturers. 231 7 Relationship with Pipeline Machinery Major This major shall provide the Pipeline Machinery Major with engineering material selection regulations and pipeline material identification diagrams (if any); and accept consultation from the Pipeline Machinery Major on technical issues regarding materials and welding. 8 Relationship with the disciplines of containers, heat exchangers, industrial furnaces and special equipment 8.0.1 The above-mentioned disciplines need to provide the following documents to this discipline: design regulations of each discipline; Procurement technical documents, including data sheets and inquiry drawings: manufacturer's quotation documents, ACF drawings and files CF drawings and files: when the manufacturing drawings are designed by our company (institute), provide the manufacturing drawings designed by our company (institute). Propose review opinions on the materials and welding manufacturing aspects of the pump specialty design and procurement technical documents: Participate in the review of manufacturer quotations, ACF and CF technical documents and put forward review opinions; Participate in the pump specialty manufacturer coordination meeting (VCM) and participate in the preparation of relevant meeting minutes or documents when necessary. 10 Relationship with the instrument specialty The instrument specialty needs to provide the following documents to this specialty: 10.0.1 Provide relevant instrument specialty design and procurement technical documents to this specialty when necessary. 10.0.2This major needs to provide the following documents to the instrument specialty: 1 Engineering material selection regulations and pipeline material identification diagram (if any): 2 Relevant engineering standards and regulations compiled by this major; 3 Propose material review opinions on the technical documents provided by the instrument specialty, and accept consultation on materials, welding, testing and inspection by the instrument specialty. 11 Relationship with Powder Engineering (Mechanical Transportation) and Mechanical Repair Specialties Provide engineering material selection regulations to powder engineering and mechanical repair specialties, and accept their consultation on materials, anti-corrosion, etc. 12 Relationship with Civil Engineering and Structure Specialties This specialty accepts consultation from civil engineering and structure specialties on materials, welding, testing, etc. 233 Relationship with Procurement and Inspection Departments Inspection is an indispensable and important part of procurement activities. This specialty participates in the following material-related work: 13.0.1 Serve as a technical consultant for the procurement department on equipment and materials; 13.0.2 For key and special material equipment, participate in the inspection work at the manufacturer, especially in material testing, welding process evaluation, welder skill assessment, and inspection test results.
