Part 1: GB/T19816.1--2005 Test method for sampling of metal abrasives for blast cleaning of coated steel surfaces (IS 11125 1:1993,1DT) ISO565:1990 Test sieves Basic size of wire mesh. Perforated plate and electroformed sheet mesh 3 Instruments In addition to conventional laboratory instruments and glassware, the following equipment should also be included: 3.1 Balance Accuracy is 0.1 mm: 3.2 Test sieves The test sieve is round, with a diameter of 25 mm-~50 mm, a metal frame, and a sieve of about 200 nm in diameter. The aperture range of conventional test sieves is determined according to the specifications of the tested product and should comply with the requirements of Table 2 in ISO565:1990, as shown in Table 1 of this part. The test sieve should have square holes and be equipped with a sieve cover and a collection tray. The test sieve should be calibrated and inspected regularly and should be free of residual abrasive. Note: It is impossible to accurately screen the sample with a small diameter test sieve. Table 1 Table of apertures of conventional test sieves (selected from IS0565:1990; specifications are R20/3 and R40/3) mt GB/T 19816.2—2005/IS0 11125-2; 1993 3.3 Slap-type vibrating sieve machine Slap-type vibrating sieve machine is used to stir the sample. The sieving sample should be carried out in a suitable vibrating sieve machine, which should have two functions of plane rotation and vertical movement that produces strong vibration or knocking effect. The vibrating sieve machine should be firmly installed. Note: Manual sieving or other mechanical systems that only vibrate or rotate cannot accurately sieve the sample. 3.4 1/1 Sample distributor 4 Sampling Draw a representative sample of the product to be tested according to the provisions of GB/T19816, 1-2005. 5 Steps Take two samples for determination. 5.1 Use the 1/1 sample divider (3.4) to draw a sample of about 100 g. 5.2 Use the balance (3.1) to weigh (100 ± 0.5) g of the test material (mc). Note that the addition of a test material tray may result in inaccurate screening. 5.3 Classify all test sieves according to the requirements of the grade and screening specification table specified in the relevant part of ISO 11124 (see Appendix A). If the material is not included in ISO 11124, arrange it in a method agreed by both parties concerned. 5.4 Arrange the test sieves (3, 2) from top to bottom according to the density level, with the largest mesh at the top and the smallest mesh at the bottom. A collection tray is placed below to receive all the abrasive that passes through the smallest mesh. 5.5 Place the test material on the top test sieve. 5.6 Cover the top test sieve. 5.7 Place the test sieve frame with the test material into the slap-type vibrating screen machine 3.3) and stir the circular abrasive for at least 10 minutes and the angular abrasive for at least 15 minutes. Note: The stirring time should be selected so that the change in the accumulation of each layer of the sieves on the sieve frame does not exceed 0.5% every 5 minutes. 5.8 Carefully remove the beard sieve from the sieve frame, pour the abrasive remaining on the sieve into the closed flat plate, brush all the abrasive adhering to the sieve and add it to the large flat plate. Weigh to the nearest 0.1 and record the result (m). Repeat this operation for all sieves on the sieve frame, including the lowest collection plate, and weigh the abrasive remaining on them. Calculate and record the accumulation rate of abrasive remaining on each sieve. If it is less than 99% of the initial amount, collect and test it again. 6 Explanation of results The mass percentage R of the abrasive retained on each test sieve and collection disc is calculated according to the formula (1): R=㎡×100 Where: nn—mass of the test material, in grams (g): m)—mass of the abrasive retained on the sieve or disc, in grams (g). (1) If the cumulative abrasive retained on each test sieve differs by more than 10% (relative to the higher result), repeat the steps specified in Chapter 5. Calculate the average of the two valid test results of the retained abrasive. The calculated result is accurate to 1%. 7 Precision Differences in sieve openings within the limits allowed by ISO 565:1990 may cause significant differences in test results for the same material. Once such differences occur, it is recommended that users and suppliers exchange samples or sieves. 8 Test report The test report shall at least include the following contents: a) GB/T 19816.2—2005/ISO 11125-2:1993 All necessary details of the tested product shall be marked according to the corresponding part of ISO11124: This part standard number (GB/T19816.2—2005); test results; Difference from the specified test method; Test date: Tester, GB/T 19816.2—2005/1SO 11125-2:1993 Appendix A (Informative Appendix) International Standard for Gold Abrasives for Blasting Cleaning IS()11124 and IS()11125 are standards regarding the technical requirements and test methods for metal abrasives for blast cleaning.
