3.1 Heat shrinkable parts
JB7829-1995
Heat shrinkable parts are made of polymer as the basic material to form the required profiles. After cross-linking process, the linear molecules of the polymer are transformed into body molecules with a network structure. After heating, they expand to the specified size and then shrink to the predetermined size by themselves after heating. 3.2 Heat-shrinkable insulating tube (referred to as insulating tube in this standard) is a tubular heat-shrinkable component used for electrical insulation. 3.3 Heat-shrinkable semi-conductive tube (referred to as semi-conductive tube in this standard) is a tubular heat-shrinkable component with a volume resistivity less than 10°n·cm. 3.4 Heat-shrinkable stress control tube (referred to as stress tube in this standard) is a tubular heat-shrinkable component with the corresponding required dielectric constant and volume resistivity, which can alleviate the electric field concentration at the cable ends and joints. 3.5 Heat-shrinkable oil-resistant tube (referred to as oil-resistant tube in this standard) is a tubular heat-shrinkable component with good tolerance to oils in long-term contact during use. 3.6 Heat-shrinkable sheath tube (referred to as sheath tube in this standard) is a tubular heat-shrinkable component used as a seal and has a certain mechanical protection effect. 3.7 Heat-shrinkable phase color tube (referred to as phase color tube in this standard) is a tubular heat-shrinkable component used as a phase mark for cable cores. Heat shrink branch sleeve (referred to as branch sleeve in this standard) 3.8
Branch-shaped heat shrink components used for sealing and protecting the separation of multi-core cable cores. Among them, those made of semi-conductive materials are called heat shrink semi-conductive branch sleeves (referred to as semi-conductive branch sleeves in this standard). 3.9 Heat shrink rain cover (referred to as rain cover in this standard) is an umbrella-shaped heat shrink component used for cable terminal heads to increase leakage distance and wet flashover distance. 3.10 Hot melt adhesive
is an adhesive material that melts and bonds when heated. It is used with heat shrink components to ensure that the interface is tightly bonded after heating and shrinking, and it is a colloid that plays a role in sealing, leakproof and moisture-proof.
3.11 Filling adhesive
is a rubber agricultural material used with heat shrink components to fill the gap at the interface joint after shrinkage. 4 Product marking and code
