Mechanical Industry Standard of the People's Republic of China
Electrical Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive Tapes: General Requirements
JB/T596991
This standard refers to the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) publication 454-1 (first edition, 1974) "Electrical Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive Tapes Specification Part 1: General Requirements".
1 Subject content and scope of application
This standard specifies the classification, code, appearance, size, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of electrical pressure-sensitive adhesive tapes (hereinafter referred to as adhesive tapes).
This standard is applicable to adhesive tapes of various substrates coated with thermosetting and thermoplastic pressure-sensitive adhesives. 2 Reference standards
GB6995.2 Wire and cable identification marking method Part 2 3 Classification and code
Adhesive tapes should be classified as follows:
a. Type and code of substrate:
b Temperature index of adhesive tapes;
c. Types of adhesives.
Standard colors
The code letters for the types and materials of various types of adhesive tape substrates are shown in Table 1. The number after the code represents the temperature index of the adhesive tape, followed by the code of the adhesive specified in Article 3.2. Examples of codes:
F-PETP/130/Tp
or, F-PI/180/Ts
3.1 Temperature index of adhesive tape
The temperature index of adhesive tape is: 75, 90, 105, 120, 130, 155, 180 or above -180.3.2 Adhesive
There are three types of commonly used adhesives;
3.2.1 Thermoplastic (Tp) softens when heated and returns to its original shape when cooled, and this process can be repeated; 3.2.2 Thermosetting (Ts) hardens when heated, does not return to its original shape after cooling, and does not soften when heated again; 3.2.3 The third type of adhesive (Ss) does not require heat treatment and has the same or better solvent resistance and softening temperature as thermosetting adhesives. 4 Appearance
Adhesive tapes are available in transparent, semi-transparent and opaque varieties, and can be colored or uncolored. When coloring is required, except for tapes with fabric as the base material, the colors of all adhesive tapes are preferably black, brown, blue, green, back green, red, white and yellow. The color of adhesive tapes with fabric as the base material shall be consistent with the color specified in GB6995.2.
The appearance of adhesive tapes shall be checked reel by reel, and the reel surface shall be flat and free of adhesive flow. When unwinding, there shall be no transfer of adhesive to the underlying base material or tearing of the film base material and fiber breakage.
Approved by the Ministry of Machinery and Electronics Industry on June 16, 1992, 10
Implemented on December 1, 1992
Note: When the temperature is low, the unwinding speed should not be too fast. Table 1

the inner diameter of the tube core of the adhesive tape roll is 26 and 76mm. Other sizes can be supplied if the purchaser agrees. 5.2 Width
Material code
The width of the adhesive tape shall be 6, 9, 12, 15, 19, 22, 25, 30, 38 or 50mm, or the width of the adhesive tape greater than 50mm may be produced according to the agreement between the supplier and the buyer.
5.2.1 Width deviation
The deviation of the width of 19mm and below is ±1.0mm, and the deviation of the width greater than 19mm is ±1.5mm. 5.3 Length
The length of each roll of adhesive tape shall be 10, 20, 25, 33, 50, 55, 66m and multiples of 50m or 66m, and the actual length shall not be less than the specified length.
5.4 Thickness
The thickness is specified in the product standard
6 Inspection rules
The adhesive tape must be subjected to type inspection or factory inspection as specified in the product standard. 6.1
6.2 Type inspection shall be conducted at least once every three months. Type inspection shall also be conducted when raw materials or processes are changed. 6.3 Factory inspection shall be conducted for each batch. For the same raw materials and processes, continuous production for 48 hours on the same equipment is considered a batch. The factory inspection items are specified in the product standards, but the manufacturer shall ensure that the products shipped meet all the technical requirements in the product standards. 11
JB/T5969-91
6.4 If all inspection items of factory inspection and type inspection meet the technical requirements specified in the product standards, the batch shall be judged as qualified products. If the inspection results are unqualified in appearance, they can be processed one by one. If one of the other items does not meet the technical requirements of the product, double sampling shall be taken from another tape reel of the batch to repeat the inspection. If there is still one group that does not meet the requirements, the batch shall be judged as unqualified products. 6.5 If the user unit requires it, the manufacturer shall provide a product type inspection report. The user unit has the right to conduct acceptance inspection according to the product standards. 7
Marking, packaging, transportation and storage
7.1 Marking
The product should have the following markings:
Manufacturer name;
Product name;
The inner wall of the tube core should have the registered trademark and product mark, product model and code,
Color:
Product standard number;
Manufacturing date and batch number.
7.2 Packaging
The adhesive tape should be packed in a packaging box, and the adhesive tape roll should be placed flat in the box to prevent extrusion and deformation. 7.2.1
The packaging box should be marked with;
Manufacturer name:
Product model and name;bzxz.net
Gross weight and net weight:
Factory date.
In addition, it is necessary to indicate the words such as moisture-proof, dust-proof, sunlight-proof, fire-proof, and spectrum inversion. 7.3 Transportation
During transportation, adhesive tapes should be protected from heavy pressure, mechanical damage, moisture, dust intrusion and direct sunlight. 7.4 Storage
7.4.1 The packaged adhesive tapes should be stored with the reel surface flat in a dry, clean and well-ventilated warehouse with a temperature of 10~33°C and a relative humidity of 45%~75%. They should not be close to fire sources, heaters or direct sunlight. 7.4.2: The storage period of adhesive tapes is 6 months from the date of manufacture. If it exceeds 6 months, it should be re-inspected according to the product standards and qualified ones can still be used. Additional remarks:
