According to the requirements of the State Planning Commission's Document No. 30 of 1989, the "Standard for Inspection and Assessment of Building Anticorrosion Engineering Quality" jointly formulated by the Ministry of Chemical Industry and relevant departments has been reviewed by relevant departments. The "Standard for Inspection and Assessment of Building Anticorrosion Engineering Quality" GB50224—95 is now approved as a mandatory national standard and will be implemented from March 1996.

1 This standard is formulated to unify the methods and standards for inspection and evaluation of building anti-corrosion engineering quality, divide the engineering quality grades, promote enterprises to strengthen management, and ensure engineering quality.
This standard applies to the inspection and evaluation of the quality of anti-corrosion engineering of newly built, rebuilt, and expanded buildings and structures.
3 The main technical indicators and technical requirements of this standard are formulated in accordance with the provisions of the current national standard "Construction and Acceptance Code for Building Corrosion Protection Engineering" GB50212-91 (hereinafter referred to as the "Construction Code").
1.0.4 The quality of raw materials, semi-finished products and finished products used in the building corrosion protection engineering inspected and evaluated by this standard shall comply with the relevant provisions of the "Construction Code" or the current national standards.

2.1 Engineering Division
The inspection and evaluation of the quality of building corrosion protection engineering shall be carried out in sequence according to sub-projects and sub-projects.
2.1.2 The division of sub-projects and sub-projects shall comply with the following provisions: 2.1.2.1 Sub-projects shall be divided according to the types of main anti-corrosion materials, and the base treatment project can constitute a sub-project alone. The quality of a sub-project should be evaluated by the person in charge of the sub-project on the basis of the team's self-inspection, and verified by a full-time quality inspector. The unified format of the sub-project quality inspection and evaluation form should comply with the provisions of Appendix B of this standard.
2.3.2The quality of the sub-project shall be evaluated by the person in charge of the unit project and verified by a full-time quality inspector. The general contractor shall be fully responsible for the quality of the project.
